We got a face painter / balloon twister for my son’s first birthday and it was perfect for all the toddlers and older kids. Ava was professional, awesome with kids and a great artist. It was the cutest thing to see a bunch of toddlers with their faces painted. Some also made us laugh uncontrollably aka my son as Michelangelo the TMNT.

Our kids and families were so entertained by Kenny at our pizza picnic. He was high-energy, silly, had some tricks up his sleeve, and was all-around awesome. He was more than happy to follow the children's lead and was very playful. We look forward to having him back during the school year. Booking was quick and easy with great communication. Thank you!!

Kenny provided an Extravaganza show for our non-profit and did great with the kids and families. We had a low turn out due to weather and he mad sure everyone had a great time. Would highly recommend!

We hired Kaleidescope Design for a 5th birthday party--it was a huge hit. Communication during the booking process was excellent, and Jacquie created beautiful designs (mostly tigers, lions, cheetahs, by the kids' requests). She did a great job managing the line and engaging everyone while they were getting their own faces painted and while they were waiting. She also checked in with me before leaving to make sure everyone who wanted to had gotten a chance.

Our guests loved her balloon animals and she was amazing- do not delay in booking them for your party!

I thought The balloon entertainer would engage more with the crowd and ask what balloons they like. It was low energy. I thought she was still setting up and then she tells me her time is up, at that point, we were all SCRAMBLING to get tattoos! Half the people wanted them, but thought she was setting up still. SO I paid $322 for 4 balloons and 6 tatoos. Beyond upset, there should be some level of engagement and she should have asked the birthday boy what he wanted and twisted in front of him for a show. I could have gotten a package to tattos for 10 bucks. The balloons were nothing special, looked kind of odd.

Kaleidoscope sent Marissa to do face painting, Balloon twisting and glitter Tattoo at my 5 Year-old Son's birthday party. She is very talented and fast with the face painting. She was sweet with the kids and Patient. I absolutely recommend her!

Kenny the Clown was punctual and professional. He was patient and fun with the kids. They all loved their face paint and balloon art!

Everything was great! Spoke with Marissa a couple of times, she was helpful, pleasant and professional. Jackie, the Artist, was great! Guests appreciated the service. The only issue was per the correspondence, the vendor was to contact me the evening before to go over/ confirm everything. Never got a call, or any correspondence, even after I reached out via GiGSalad evening before. I ended up calling Marissa about 4 hrs before the event to make sure that we were all set. It made me a little nervous, but turned out well. Would recommend this vendor.

We had a wonderful experience over the weekend working with a performer w/Kaleidoscope. She was on time and kept the kids engaged and happy for the entire 2 hours! I would absolutely recommebed both the service and specifically Colleen who was so wonderful. She must have turned out a hundred balloons and they were so great and the kids just loved them.

I gave a three star rating because of the quality of the ink used and payment. A few hours before the event was to take place the henna artist requested that I have final payment. I explained to her through messaging gigsalad took full payment from me prior to the event. Later on in the evening when she finished up. The henna artist was still asking for final payment. I had to pull up the information that shows that I paid in full and gigsalad will release final payment to her after the event has taken place. Did not understand the confusion.

We had a lot of kids and Kira was very patient and made some incredible balloons ! She was right on time, attentive and had a smile the entire event.

The kids loved her, they had a good time and she's was really good..
Only thing I would change is for her to practice singing louder..

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Jessica, Christine and Jess for our Halloween event. From our initial inquiry through the event itself, the team was professional, punctual, and infectiously positive! Communication with Jessica ahead of the event was consistent and lovely, and confirming final details with Christine was reassuring. The crowd at our Halloween event exceeded our wildest expectations, and through it all -- six hours and hundreds of children -- Christine and Jess were calm, cool and collected, pumping out balloon after balloon with smiles on their faces and rock star attitudes. We look forward to working with the Kaleidoscope team again!

I have worked with Kaleidoscope on several occasions and they never disappoint! For our Halloween party this year, Kira and Ginny came to our party to do tarot/palm and runes readings. They were great to work with, really creating a mystical environment and fascinating the guests with their readings. For children, Christine came to our party and she was phenomenal! Her magic show thrilled even the adults, and she does a wonderful job with everything- henna and glitter tattoos, glitter and tinsel hair designs, incredible face painting, and balloon twisting( which brings the reason why you absolutely need to go with kaleidoscope). I also hired a balloon twister from another company, who could not come to the party last minute😳 Christine, Kira and Ginny jumped right in and set up an impromptu balloon show, saving the day! I am so pleased with Kaleidoscope, and especially the dedication of these three ladies! Can’t wait to work with them again😊

Valerie from Kaleidoscope Designs was very friendly. She was very patient and did a great job. Everyone from a 4year old to an 81 year old got a tattoo. Was a hit with everyone. My only complaint is she only had black paint. I don’t remember being given an option of color or black only ( would’ve preferred having color paint too). Overall it helped make my Daughter’s Sweet 16 party memorable.

We invited Christine from Kaleidoscope Design to perform a mix o magic show consisting of half an hour magic show followed by two hours of balloon twisting for our son’s 4th birthday party. Christine’s so good with the kids! She made us look and feel like to coolest parents in preschool (not that it’s a competition). The kids were absolutely delighted by her show and balloon twisting skill. Kaleidoscope was not the cheapest option for the occasion, but there’s a lot of value in seeing a professional like Christine entertain your guests.

Colleen was fantastic. Since it was a 3 year old party the face painting didn’t seem to be the favorite of the little guys but the older kids and adults really enjoyed it. Colleen was patient and friendly with everyone. We really enjoyed having her!

Christine was incredible- every parent at the party commented at how she connected individually with each child, taking the time to learn their name and figure out what each kid liked. The majority of the kids at this party were special needs - Autism, adhd, Down’s syndrome and more- yet she had them all engaged and happy. Truly a gifted big heated individual.

The kids loved this event. We hired Kenny for the "Mix O Magic" package - magic show + face painting. The kids loved the magic. It was just right for their age (7). They were thrilled with the face painting, as were the parents. Kenny's face painting skills were incredible! Communication with the event company was restricted to email or messages via Gig Salad only, so it was a little stressful leading up to the event. I feel it does help to have personal contact via phone, especially with vendors I've never worked with before. Overall, it was a good experience and I would hire them again.

Christine was the artist that worked with us. She was so organized and amazing! She held the childrens attention the whole time. Her face painting was BEAUTIFUL! She also did glitter tattoos and minnie mouse! I cant say enough how amazing she was with everyone and she made my daughters birthday magical! Every parent there was asking for her info! First of all, the coordination process for my little girl's birthday party was very smooth, and Jessica (the coordinator) is very nice. I want to take time though, to thank Christine, or "Aqua", for being the best mermaid Ever! She did an amazing job at engaging the kids and connecting with them. The face painting and games were so fun, the kids loved every minute of it. We couldn't have had a better birthday party. Thank you again, Christine !!! :)

Our children's school had an airbrush tattoo artist and they came with big books of options to choose from as well as offering different colors. The tattoo artist brought glitter tattoos (which the little kiddos liked) with a very limited selection. When she arrived her airbrush machine wasn't working so we had to wait for her colleague to arrive with a working machine. The tattoo selection was on the smaller side and they were all in black, which was such a disappointment to give little kids all black tattoos. I was underwhelmed given the cost of this. The booking process was onerous as well, tons of back and forth before we could just book it. Probably easier to just go to the source to book these types of things. (As my husband said they all could have gotten real ones for the price we paid!!!!)

I've had the pleasure of working with Kaleidoscope Design for the last years for a Red Sox weekend event held at the museum. They are a big hit every year with families lining up to get their face painted. They are great with kids and overall very easy to work with.

One thing that I appreciate is that they are very self-sufficient, they arrive, I show them where to set up, and then they run the show. It's truly incredibly helpful knowing I can rely on them to do their thing and manage everything so I can focus on all the other things going on for our events.

We have already been talking about other events in which we would like to have them present.

My daughter had the best Birthday ever - Queen Elsa came to our school and made every child very happy! Elsa sang her theme song, did magic tricks, played with the kids, there were pictures and even a Coronation 👑
Christine (Elsa) is so great with kids (4-5 year olds), she knows how to get the kids’ attention and make them have the best time. I think it’s brilliant to have your child’s birthday party right at school by inviting a professional entertainer, this way all the friends can make it to your party (it’s during the daycare/school time) and you don’t have to do it at home (who likes cleaning after 20 kids?)
The entire planning process was very easy and the party was a success! 100% recommended

I had a 90th birthday party for my mom with 11 children, under the age of 11, present. Christine beginning as Queen Elisa was the hit of the party. Children were mesmerized by her and allowed the adults to enjoy themselves. At the end of the party, we had to ask the parents to collect their children so Elisa could leave!! All the children (3-7) were enthralled. She provided multiple types of entertainment

We had Princess Elsa (Christine) for my daughter’s 2nd Birthday Party and I couldn’t say enough great things about her! She was so talented with every activity she had done. She can sing, perform magic tricks, balloon twisting, interactive singalongs with the kids! She was so pleasant to have. All of the kids at the party were completely in awe of her. I would highly recommend having her at your next toddler or princess party!

Kenny was patient with the kids and did not become at all rattled with the requests or repeat customers- lol!
He made jokes and did tricks as the guests were waiting and even the parents were complimenting on how awesome he was! Thank you again, Kenny.

The Bolton Public Library hosted Christine from Kaleidoscope Art & Entertainment. She ran 2 back-to-back juggling workshops for us. The workshops were open to ages 8 and up, and both sessions featured participants of all ages, including adults. Christine worked wonderfully with everyone, regardless of their age or skill level, and everyone was successful in juggling everything from scarves to hula hoops!

This is the second year in a row that we've hosted Christine, as she ran a balloon twisting workshop for us last year. Both Christine and her booking agent, Jessica, are easy to work with and reliable. If you're looking to offer interesting workshops like these, or if even if you're only looking for an general entertainer, I highly recommend it Christine!

Littany was amazing! She gave each kid the individual attention they were seeking and all of her creations were incredible! She was super friendly and was always asking if there was something she could help with! The kids loved her. I would highly recommend her and her company! The octopus she made for my daughters party is still going strong 6 days later! Thank you so much!

The balloon artist/face painter we hired was absolutely amazing. Our guests were all amazed at how talented she was and she was so nice and professional! Would definitely recommend and will use this company for future events!

Our balloon twister was very nice and the talented. We were a little disappointed though because many of the balloons kept popping. I think if there was a menu of what the kids could ask for that would have been helpful as well or if someone asked for a Tiger our balloon twister could have suggested something she could do if she couldn’t do that. However I will say she made a very special octopus that cake out very cool for the birthday boy.

She was great with the kids and made fun and interesting shapes. Kids were blown away.

Christine was a huge hit at our Fall Festival. From the moment she arrived at our event until it was time for her to pack up, there was a steady line of excited kids and adults! Haley and Chris were at our daughter's 4th birthday, and were fantastic to work with. Super creative balloon designs (ie an octopus) and the kids had amazing butterfly and tiger face paint. Arrived early, were super professional, and the kids loved it. Our daughter said it was one of the best parts of our party. We highly recommend.

We had Jess at our large outdoor neighborhood party and she was wonderful! She showed up on time and immediately got set up and ready to work. We had to delay our party an hour due to severe storms in the forecast and she was flexible with the adjustment. Would recommend!

We hired Captain America for our super hero party of 30 kids. He was amazing, he organized all the kids, played games inside and outside and really brought what could have been chaotic into a great party. All the kids loved him and listened, played and it was great experience! Highly recommend!

The booking process was straight forward and simple, the employee who helped us was very accommodating and never took long to answer our questions (We had quite a few as this was our first time hiring entertainment). We ended up having a balloon twister named Meghan and she was on time, polite, and the kids had a blast! Five star experience, will definitely be using them again

April the Clown (played by Susannah) was fantastic! She had such a perfect disposition for kids and kids at heart. Her artistry was second to none- her face paintings and balloon twisting were phenomenal. (I had no idea you could twist a balloon into a monkey... or a cat!) She also left small balloon flowers on our dining tables after the event for my Residents to enjoy at their suppertime meal. Extremely thoughtful and great with people in general. Jessica was my contact in coordinating this event, and she was extremely prompt and helpful, and I liked that she emailed after the event to see how things went. This was my first encounter with Kaleidoscope Design, but certainly will not be my last-especially since everyone is requesting April the Clown back! They come highly recommended. My event was a carnival-like party for Grandparents' Day, so kids from 1-98 to be exact. There were other things going on like games, and a photo booth, and April kept busy! Very organized, neat, and kind.

I am the Market Master for the Downtown Milford Farmers Market and have hired both Kenny the Clown and Mike the Magician and Natalie the Face Painter for several events spanning several years that I've headed up this operation. Kenny has been a whirlwind human and clown, showing intelligence, humor, playfulness, craft, and HUGE talent. Mike the Magician is the same way but in his own beautiful and individual way. Natalie's energy and spirit and craft are unstoppable and I shudder to think what our humbled little market would be without her! I cannot say enough about these "characters" and you should take my word for it.. they are worth EVERY PENNY of EVERY MINUTE of EVERY ENGAGEMENT OF THEIR HIRING. Thank you Kenny, Mike, and especially Natalie!

Desiree was amazing! She was so great with the kids and kept them entertained. She did wonderful work. It was raining which we didn't plan for and she made the party still go off without a hitch by providing such fun entertainment. I would use her again in a second. Actually I will need to at my other sons party in April. Great job!!!!!

We had Amber come to my daughter's 1st birthday party to provide some entertainment for the kids. It was a backyard party & we had about 15 or so kids there, ranging from 1-10 years old and this was a great to keep them busy and having fun without consuming the party! Would definitely recommend.

We had face painting and glitter tattoos. This was our grandson's 11 the birthday party. It made the party!! Kids of all ages loved it!! We definitely will use them again!!

Face painter was very engaging with kids. Sample photos of face paint options would have been helpful. Most of the kids got the same design as others.

I was looking for an entertainer for my daughters sixth birthday party and was so lucky to come across Kaleidoscope! Jessica and other office staff were fantastic to talk to and answered all of my questions about the different princess packages they offered. We decided that Moana would be a great fit and she was. My daughter was so surprised and excited when Moana came to her party, that she cried tears of joy! Moana had a beautiful singing voice and even encouraged the kids to sing along. She even held a story time where the kids got to be involved in making the story! These memories will last a lifetime and will never be forgotten. Thank you Kaleidoscope!

We hired a balloon twister and were VERY happy with her! Lots of fun designs, very nice with kids, and really fast. She finished early and ended up adding glitter tattoos which was nice.

Batman came to our public library and WOWED the kids! Ryan was awesome in character and was exceptionally good at engaging the kids and capturing their attention. He was absolutely fabulous and I would highly recommend this superhero program for any venue.

My six-year-old daughter, Lily, cannot stop talking about her face painting and balloon twisting birthday party. The artist (I cant remember her name) was extremely talented, creating all sorts of balloon animals and a wide variety of faces. The artist was always smiling and patient with the kids. She even allowed my daughter to have her face painted twice. The party went smoothly and the artist really helped to take a load off my shoulders by keeping the kids and many of the parents entertained. I passed along Kaleidoscope's info to a couple mom's at the party who were considering adding some fun to their child's party. I can't wait until my son's birthday in the spring. I wont hesitate to call Kaleidoscope!

My company's grand opening had an amazing turnout, largely due to the engaging and friendly face painters from Kaleidoscope. Not only were they incredibly friendly and fun with the kids, their designs were very unique. I would recommend them to any business looking to draw families in a fun, new way.

We were undecided about whether or not we would have our party this past weekend due to Hurricane Hermine. When the weather turned out to be sunny on Sunday I texted Kaleidoscope to see if they could still send someone. Not only did they find an amazing balloon and tattoo artist (Melissa), they saved the day. They were responsive, professional, very pleasant and great w kids.
We had about 25 kids (ages 6 - 12) and they were lined up for their glitter tattoos and balloon figures. It was great! My daughter still has her adorable balloon cat and butterfly tattoo. I hired Batman for our son's birthday party and he was terrific! He kept the kids fully engaged the entire time he was with us, and when it came time for him to leave the kids did not want to let him go.

My daughter had her 5th bday and we surprised her with Elsa and Anna. These two princesses did an amazing job. Not only did they act just like the princesses but they actually knew how to sing, dance and so face painting. So talented and would recommend them to anyone!! 5 stars!!

Our daughter is obsessed with super heroes (I don't know how we never really watched the movies together or anything) so we had SuperGirl come to our party for face painting.

I wasn't really sure what to expect ("Isn't this a little much for a 3 year old girl?" I asked my husband) but SuperGirl was the PERFECT mix of girly and tough. My daughter followed her around like a puppy the whole time, and SuperGirl was so patient.

They played a few little singalong games with the toddlers which was fun, plus face painting. (In retrospect, I wish we had done balloon twisting, but it was still great.) When SuperGirl left she made them all take a "pledge" to be brave, kind, and honest no matter what. I've gotta say, it was pretty cute.

It was the right mix of girly and tough, and SuperGirl was SO PRETTY and her costume was so cute, but she was still pretty tough like a super hero. Even I got pretty star struck!

My niece was thrilled, and definitely surprised, to see Elsa & Anna show up at a special family party. The girls were so sweet & wonderful with the kids, spent lots of time, and sang beautifully.

I booked the cat and the hat for Jan 9th 2016. The character was right on time. We set her up at a table with acouple chairs. And once we finished lunch, they children flocked to her. I chose balloon animals as the activity and she was AMAZING! The children were enthralled and the adults were shocked at her creations. She was very professional and did a phenomenal job. I certainly will go with Kaleidoscope for my futures entertainment needs!

Cinderella made my daughter's dream come true! This was the best party by far! She was amazing with the kids so kind patient and fun! Thank you so much! Parents if you're looking for great entertainment definitely contact them!

I had the pleasure of working with Marissa and her super talented team for my nephew's pirate event! Joe came out and did an amazing job as the pirate! He did a fun treasure hunt with the children and made sure no child was left out! It was wonderful! I definitely recommend him!

I arranged for a pirate to come to my 4 year olds birthday party. I had the pirate toddler package whic I was under the impression included more than the balloon swords, one game, and one treasure hunt that lasted five minutes. The pirate was a very nice man but had no experience working with toddlers. He was not engaging at all. I was asking him what was next and I had to get the attention of the kids. I do not feel that for 1.5 hours and paying $275 not including the tip, that I received my moneys worth. I will never use this group again and I would suggest looking elsewhere for a pirate.

I worked with Marissa from my home in NH to arrange to have Lonnie do caricatures at an end-of-season pizza party held by the coaches, girls, and parents of the Minnechaug freshman basketball team. One of the coaches is my father who was celebrating his 85th birthday. It was so easy to arrange, Marissa was very helpful. I got excellent feedback from my mother who said the girls, their parents, and my father had a great time and that Lonnie does excellent work. I highly recommend this company!

I had Amanda and she was awesome not only great with the kids she was extremely patient and very friendly. She and her company were exactly what I was looking for thanks to gig for hooking us up with kaleidoscope!

Susanna from Kalidescope was booked for a festival serving over 150 children with special needs. She was fabulous! Every child was attended to an her art work was fantastic. Looking forward to working with her again

We had Marissa (the owner) come to paint the kids and do balloons for them. The photos don't do her justice--she did exactly what ever child wanted, and her balloons were amazing. I've never seen someone twist balloons like that before! My daughter (birthday girl) wanted to be a princess butterfly, so Marissa painted her face and gave her butterfly wings to wear and a flower hairband. It made them all feel so special! Would recommend to anyone and very good price compared to everyone else I was looking at.

Got caricatures for my daughter's Sweet Sixteen (Candy Land themed!) and the caricatures were awesome. The girl (I forget her name--I think it was Lonny?) was so fun and sweet to all of the guests, plus her drawings were wonderful! All the kids were tagging themselves on Facebook and we got one of our whole family to frame on our wall.

I wish we had gotten these done years ago, but we're excited to bring her back when my son turns 16 in three years. I think we might have started a family tradition!!!!!!!

Showed up ontime. Quick set up. Very good with the children. 7 year old Birthday girl said it was the best party ever!! We even had parents say it was a great idea. One parent even called and said her 2 chilcdren said it was the best party they ever went to. Balloon designs were awesome! Would definately use again!
