Kalinders is the solo project of Holly Tzeigon-Whitaker, a heart-on-sleeve songwriter and folk/rock vocalist living in New Orleans, LA. Her rich, velvety voice recalls that of Stevie Nicks and her timeless songwriter has been likened to that of Bruce Springsteen and Dolly Parton. Each set is tailored specifically to the event and audience, combining original songs with crowd pleasing covers that range from jazz to classic rock, 70's country to contemporary pop. Kalinders is available as a solo performer, a duo (+ lead guitar) or as a 4-piece band. We asked Kalinders to entertain for an hour and a half during pre-dinner cocktails. She was perfect. The songs were perfect and she has an outstanding voice. I look forward to having her again.
We booked Holly for entertainment at our cocktail party and she provided lovely, melodic background music, playing popular folk and soul covers from the the 60's-90's, as well as some originals. Very unique and captivating voice.
