What to Expect
You can expect a polished and poised performance built from 17 years of flute playing and 3 degrees in music. I am happy to play solo but am also able to coordinate an ensemble of your choosing with my vast network of talented musicians in the North Florida area.
About
A Kentucky native, Dr. Kallie Snyder is an active performer, teacher, and clinician in the Southeastern United States with recent presentations at the National Flute Association Convention, Florida Flute Association Convention, Flute Society of Kentucky Festival, and the the Mid-South Flute Society Festival. She received a Doctorate of Music in flute performance with a certificate in World Music at Florida State University where she served as a Teaching Assistant and President of the Flute Association. In addition, she earned a Master of Arts degree in flute performance from Middle Tennessee State University and a Bachelor of Instrumental Music Education from Western Kentucky University. Her teachers include Eva Amsler, Deanna Little, and Heidi Alvarez.
