Kirstie (McDermott) Moot is an experienced professional dancer and instructor. She received her BFA from Stephens College with a Major in Dance. Since graduating college and entering the professional world, she has taught at several local studios in both Missouri & Kansas. Kirstie has performed professionally with local dance companies including City in Motion and Storling Dance Theater. She currently is the Artistic Director of
Kansas City Dance Collective, offers private dance lessons and choreography through her business Kansas City Dance, and offers group dance classes in ballet and ballroom along with her dance partner Paco Vitug at the Music Arts Institute in Independence, MO.
Kirstie & Paco offer choreography in several styles of dance ranging from competitive dance, to event performances, to social dance (ie. first dance, wedding reception).
