I have 45,000 songs, from the late 1940s to around 2010, in a variety of musical genres. The music is from artists such as Elvis Presley, AC-DC, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Creedence Clearwater Revival..., the list goes on! I am a karaoke host, and would like to be YOUR next karaoke host for the Cedar Rapids/Marion, IA area.

Everyone should expect a quality show. To bring this about, I will arrive in time to set up the equipment and test it to insure functionality. The show will be run by myself, in a completely sober state. I do not consume alcohol while on the clock. Clients and customers alike will be treated with the utmost of respect.
I am a person who has been bitten by the karaoke bug and can no longer sit on the sidelines while someone else runs the show. I am a military veteran, hence the name "Kara-Sarge Karaoke." Like I like to say, it may sound like a hoakie name, but it's MY hoakie name. :) Shows generally run a length of four hours, but may be extended if the need arises, and all parties agree. I will arrive in plenty of time to set up the equipment to have it ready in time for the show. Setup time is included in the total cost to you. Each karaoke show takes on its own life, therefore, no guarantees can or will be made as to show quality, but that I will strive for everyone present to have a good time. Karaoke is not for a bar in danger of closing. Karaoke is meant to enhance the customer base, not build it. If you are a bar with no kitchen, karaoke probably will not do well for you either.
I am currently using a powered speaker system, with laptop computer, monitor and four corded (link hidden)pending on the size of the bar, what I have should be enough, although I welcome the opportunity to audition my equipment to insure that it would be suitable for the location.
As a karaoke host, I have no set list. The software used creates a history of all songs sung by a particular singer. The songs on my hard drive are from a variety of genres, including, but not limited to, Old Country, Country, Classic Rock, Pop music, Easy Listening.... All I can say is that there is quite a variety on there, which should appeal to the very young and the very old alike.
Buck Owens, George Jopnes, Leroy Van Dyke, Creedence Clearwater Revival, the list is quite long.
