Karilyn Monroe

Karen will arrive in character as Marilyn Monroe ready to meet and greet, pose for pictures and schmooze with guests. "Marilyn" displays both playfulness and professionalism suitable for all audiences and is known for her quick wit and not-so-dumb blonde humor.
" Marilyn" is prepared to perform one song (Happy Birthday, for example) a short set of 3 songs or a full hour long Tribute to Marilyn featuring many of the songs Marilyn Monroe performed in her career and several costume changes. The show is fun and lively with audience interaction that helps make every show unique. All songs are performed to professionally recorded backing tracks and the vocals are live. All performances may be customized to fit your event.

I have been very honored to portray Marilyn Monroe at special events, private parties and performance venues all over the US and Canada but especially in our beautiful Pacific Northwest which is my home.
I have been involved in music and theater most of my life but began performing full time as Marilyn after winning First Place in the "Ripley's Believe it or Not Marilyn Monroe Body Double" contest in Hollywood CA. That was certainly a great honor since the judges included some of Marilyn Monroe's most famous photographers and I had the opportunity to model some of Marilyn's clothing. Since that time I have performed live at Casinos, Theaters, and Private Parties big and small. I really enjoy making an event memorable and bringing a little Hollywood glamour as well as that girl next door warmth that Marilyn was so known for.

Artist is equipped with backing tracks Mic and amp suitable for a small to mid sized room (living room or small banquet hall) and will bring an assistant to set up and run the sound for private parties. For larger venues and events the Artist will work with the system or DJ provided, using backing tracks that can be played on a cd or mp3 player.
