Katherine Winston

My music can range from a soft/intimate style; which is perfect for laid-back events, to bigger/edgier style; which is better for parties or other events. My biggest influence is Stevie Nicks, so if you think of her style, that's sort of what you'll see in my set. I can do a show just me and a guitar, or bring in some people for a bigger event, whichever suits you. I have played everything from theaters to cocktail parties, so I am flexible to whatever you're looking for.

Katherine Winston is a singer-songwriter from Massachusetts. She was only eleven years old when she picked up the guitar and started writing. Soon after, she was out at open mics many nights of the week. By thirteen, she had weekly shows at local cafe's, restaurants, and clubs. As a young teen she was traveling all over New England and further, opening for bands, or performing solo gigs. Katherine later appeared on Season 14 of American Idol, where she was one of the Top 12 girl finalists. Since Idol, she has traveled around the country performing, writing, and recording new music. Katherine’s single ‘Come Around’ is out everywhere now!

I would need a PA if the event is in a larger space, but I have a small system for more intimate venues. As for lighting and staging, whatever works for you works for me!
