Kate Baumer is a Christian singer/songwriter originally from Lansing, Michigan. Kate started writing music in her dorm at Michigan State, and by Spring 2016 had written over fifty original songs. After spending two years at Michigan State University, she finally stopped resisting God’s call to music and ministry. She transferred to Siena Heights University, where she recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Theology.
Kate finds inspiration in the day-to-day struggles of being an authentic Christian, and connects that to music in her debut self-titled album. She applies an energetic, Contemporary Christian style to real-life situations that everyone can relate to.

Kate and her band have been featured on Smile FM, Jon Leonetti, Women of Substance Radio, and more. In Spring 2016, they won Lansing Has Talent, and continue to play weekly at a local church in Lansing. Kate and her band recently opened at the 2016 Faith Fest in Dewitt, Michigan where they played alongside Matt Maher and Jason Gray.
