Katherine Alexander

I sing opera, classical music, and even modern genres (ballads.) My music and singing style offer fantasy and elegance to any occasion.

As a classically trained singer, I have performed full-length operas nationally and internationally. I have sung for countless weddings, public & private events, funerals, concerts, and ceremonies.

Katherine Alexander is a mezzo-soprano and Miami native with a rich cultural background from her Cuban and Greek heritage. Katherine has excelled in the opera and pop industry, performing leading roles in Puccini’s Suor Angelica and Händel’s Partenope in Italy, as well as performing with famous Latin artists at Madison Square Garden and American Airlines Arena.

Notable achievements include winning first place in the NWSA concerto competition and Univision’s Idolo del Pueblo talent search. She has collaborated with renowned artists like Enrique, Iglesias, Carlos Vives, and Wisin y Yandel, reaching number one on the billboard music charts for three consecutive weeks.

Katherine performed as the lead soloist at the Ancient Spanish Monastery in North Miami Beach, Florida and holds her Bachelor of Music degree (opera/voice) from New World School of the Arts as well as her Master of Music Performance degree from Florida State University.

Inspired by a diverse mix of artists and genres, Katherine Alexander's style is unique, eclectic and profound which can be felt in her performances and resonates in her music.

-I perform with no microphone mostly, depending on venue. If performance is outdoors or if I’m performing a modern genre, I may require a microphone.
-I require a sound system for instrumental tracks or a pianist/instrumentalist for live accompaniment.
