Overview
We are a group of talented, professional and semi-professional string players with many years of experience. We will add a touch of elegance to your wedding, reception, or other special event with the rich, classic sound of string music performed live. We will work with you to create the perfect ambiance for your event choosing from our wide repertoire of music which ranges from classical to contemporary. We are available to perform in Des Moines and the surrounding area as a string quartet, trio, or duo. The music is what they'll remember!

Kathy and Co. just played for my daughter's wedding this past Saturday. The music was lovely and was a real highlight of a very special day. Kathy was so responsive and accommodated all of my requests. She is a true professional. When daughter 2, walks down the aisle, Kathy and Co. will be one of my first calls!

Kathy and co. Did such a great job! The music for our wedding was perfect, I got so many compliments on how nice it was. Kathy was super easy to work with, and was even able to source sheet music for a few niche pieces I really wanted. It was a pleasure working with them.

My husband and I had an outdoor wedding ceremony this fall. The music that Kathy and Company played sounded absolutely beautiful and really enhanced our ceremony! They had a wide variety of music to select, from classic traditional to contemporary songs. They were very easy to work with and even tolerated being bit by mosquitos while playing! I highly recommend this string quartet for your event!

My daughter got married on May 26, 2012 in Des Moines, IA.The church organist was not available. I searched everywhere to find an organist. Then we decided to use a string duo. Kathy and company were available.
Not only did they save the day, their music was wonderful. It was so refreshing than just having an organist. I heard many wonderful compliments from our guests. They enjoyed the music as they entered the church and during the whole service. The music was so calming and soothing. I think it even helped the bride and groom relax through the whole ceremony.I would recommend Kathy and compnay. Wonderful people and fantastic musicians.

Classical Duo
First off, I was so thrilled with the music Kathy and Company provided during my ceremony.
We worked for probably six months to arrange our ceremony. My husband and I had an interfatih wedding and we used non-traditional ceremony music, but Kathy was so great and accomodating to meet our needs and requests. We used several songs, from movies and even a Cold Play song. The arrangements for all, we're beautiful! If you're looking to add a special touch to your ceremony, use Kathy, she's great! Real Pros!
