I'm a solo acoustic singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist & producer endorsed by Takamine Guitars, L R Baggs and Schlagwerk Percussion. In my 28 years of performing, I have toured extensively in the US, UK and Europe and have played over 2,000 corporate and private events as well as weddings. I'm versatile and able to adapt to a variety of situations. Along with a large eclectic mix of music to choose from, I'm super easy to work with and extremely professional. Katie Marie came to set up early and was not even bothered that she was sent to the wrong area first! Our residents and staff loved listening to her sing and play the guitar, she was the perfect choice for our Friday Happy Hour. We will definitely have her out again!

We asked Katie to perform during the ceremony as the musical backdrop as the guests were seated, and the wedding party came up the isle. She learned two songs that were requests, for the wedding party entrance , and she played those beautifully with her own unique style.

Katie was on point. She showed up on time and put up a great performance. She performed songs that i requested which meant a lot to us.

I needed a guitarist/singer for my elopement. I asked Katie if she knew a specific song that was special to me and my fiancé. She did not know it but asked that I send her the version I liked. She learned the song in 2 days and surprised my fiancé with the song when we walked up together! It was such a special moment for us. One that we will never forget. Katie made that happen for us! We will have a wedding with our family and friends next fall out of state. I asked if Katie would travel and perform at our wedding event as well. She has such a beautiful singing voice and is An incredibly talented guitarist. She is also super kind and accommodating. I can’t wait to have her perform at our wedding and many other occasions in the future!! Thank you Katie! 🤗

What to Expect
I have a diverse song list covering popular music in all genres from the 60s to present day. I'm very happy to learn specific songs you'd like to hear at your event and if needed can also provide mellow instrumental music.
While performing I select songs that I feel are appropriate for my audience and I'm always very conscious of my overall volume, making sure I am not preventing people from talking to each other while I am playing. I'm extremely easy to work with and want your event to run as smoothly as possible.

Influences & Inspiration
My parents aren't musicians but they are the most musical people I've ever met. They had records playing constantly when I was growing up, so I heard a lot of James Taylor, Carol King, Mamas and Papas and The Beatles. In my youth I was heavily into Sheryl Crow, Alanis, Paula Cole and Sophie B.Hawkins and I'm so lucky and grateful to now be Sophie B's drummer. These days I'm open to pretty much anything. I love listening to all kinds of music and really appreciate someone introducing me to something new.
