Katsumi is an incredibly talented violinist who is a true professional. Several times during dinner, my guests put down their forks and applauded her performance! I also spotted Katsumi attentively listening to speeches and applauding. I appreciated her attentiveness and participation. She also had the distinct ability to roll with the punches. In the middle of her outdoor performance, the skies opened up, and it poured. Katsumi calmly, quickly and still with a smile, moved indoors and resumed seamlessly. What I perceived as a potential catastrophe was a mere blip. Hiring Katsumi is one of the ABSOLUTE best decisions I made.

I found her after a few messages on GigSalad with a few musicians - Katsumi was quick to reply and very reasonable in price. We were looking for Top40 and she was willing to learn new songs for us! She played violin for ceremony and electric violin for cocktail hour. We chose our setlist and she just showed up at our wedding - it was the easiest, most stress-free process. She played BEAUTIFULLY. I cannot say enough nice things about her, definitely looking to book for future events if they arise!

Katsumi was a great communicator leading up to the event. I booked her for my wedding ceremony and sent her song requests and she really delivered. Her music was beautiful and she was super flexible because of the weather we thought we would have the ceremony inside but at the last minute we were able to quickly move everything outside and Katsumi adapted with us with ease. She took two requests, one mid set for a hip hop song which she found on YouTube and played along to, and then after she was finished (since no one wanted her to leave), she had a request for the Ghostbusters song (so two children can dance), so she pulled it up on her iPad and played it for them while she packed up.

Katsumi is an excellent player with flexibility to adjust to new situations. Playing on a moving sailboat adds an extra layer of physical demands and bodily control. In addition, because it is 21st celebration, Katsumi understood to share the stage with Bluetooth depending on the mood of the guests. Her music was delightful. Would highly recommend her.

Katsumi sounded beautiful. Loud enough to fill a church full of guest and not overly loud and over powering the church organ but just right. It was a Catholic mass for a wedding and she played accordingly. She seems very versatile with the styles that she can play and what she can play. Very organized. I would 1000 % recommend her. Being myself a musician since the 6 grade, you can hear the tone in Katsumi playing that she has it. Katsumi was so professional and accountable. She showed up early and stayed in the freezing cold until the couple arrived for the proposal. She even learned their favorite songs in just a few days leading up to the event.
