I work with couples to design the wedding ceremony they dream of and desire which will be meaningful and reflective of their personal tastes and traditions.
I consider it an honor to perform marriage ceremonies and am a strong believer in marriage equality. I also officiate at commitment ceremonies and vow renewals. I generally serve Southwestern Lower Michigan, Northern Indiana and the Chicago area.

If chosen to be your wedding officiant you may expect professionalism, humor, knowledge of all legal requirements for your ceremony and I go out of my way to make each ceremony I perform special for the couple.
I like to meet with couples once to talk about the ceremony and get to know them a little so I can write just the perfect words for their day. If distance is a factor we can Skype, Face Time or speak on the phone.
I can offer experience, excellence and a genuine desire to help make your ceremony and day wonderful.
As of 2020 I am entering my 6th year as a wedding officiant and have performed at least 300 weddings. I enjoy providing a meaningful wedding ceremony for couples regardless of age (although couple must both be 18 or over), race, sexual orientation, religion, gender or economic status. Everyone deserves to have the wedding of their dreams as they move into the marriage they desire.
I work with couples to create a ceremony that reflects their personal tastes and traditions. Whether short or long, traditional or eclectic my goal is to give each couple personal attention and work with them until the ceremony meets their approval.
Couples working with me can expect a positive experience as I try to make this part of their wedding planning as stress free as possible. I am good at making couples feel comfortable, finding just the right vows that match their style and calming nerves on the big day.
It is an honor to be a part of the most important day of a couple's life as they start the next phase together and move into marriage. I never take it lightly but at the same time I bring humor and positive energy to their ceremony.
I realize choosing a wedding officiant is a very personal decision and I am always happy to answer any questions about my services.
For large weddings I prefer to use a mic that clips to my dress to keep my hands free. I can also use a mic on a stand or a handheld.
My voice projects pretty well and I have done several with no mic at all. I leave it up to the couple and what the venue or DJ provides.
