Kelly has extensive experience working with individuals affected by drug and alcohol addiction. She has worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor and Mental Health Counselor. She gained a wealth of knowledge and experience during her career as she has worked with individuals who had severe substance abuse and mental health diagnoses. Kelly has gained valuable experience working with clients affected by drug and alcohol addiction and therefore has dedicated her career to the education, prevention, awareness and advocacy of substance abuse related problems.
Kelly is a Pittsburgh native and graduated as Valedictorian in 1996. She pursued and obtained her Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from The University of Pittsburgh. Kelly has worked as a Milieu Therapist in the inpatient treatment unit at Western Psychiatric Institute of Pittsburgh. She also worked as a Counselor for Girls Hope of Pittsburgh, where she gained extensive experience working with at-risk adolescent girls in the residential program.
