Laissez Foure is knee-deep in the 1920s and 30s tradition of jazz from the Golden Age. With hot rhythms and vintage vocals, you'll be taken to a different era where jazz was king. Laissez Foure focuses on the jazz from New Orleans featuring Dixieland, trad jazz, second line and more.
The band was wonderful. I thought Ken was going to be here, but he had a replacement which was great! Everyone had a great time and we would love to have them back!
Laissez Foure was enjoyed by all. They played a wonderful variety of songs that our residents enjoyed and got up and danced too.
From start to finish we had a wonderful experience working with Ken and the gang. The music was just what we were looking for, cocktail hour background classic jazz music and a bit of swing to easily transition to dancing. I would definitely hire them again and highly recommend them. Really pleasant to work with and true professionaIs! Thank you for making our wedding celebration all that we had hoped for and more!

With seasoned professional musicians, you'll get the best of both worlds: quality musicianship AND entertainment. We bring energy to the stage when the event requires a show, but are just as capable to provide background music for the desired ambience. To get you in the mindset, here are styles we play often: Dixieland, New Orleans jazz, gypsy jazz (aka jazz manouche), swing, 1920s jazz, 1930s jazz, 1940s jazz. Having played numerous weddings, corporate events, fundraisers and embassy parties — we're here to oblige. If you need announcement services, we can easily accommodate this so you can focus on your party and guests.
Ken &His Rhythm Changers have been in business since 2006 and brings you jazz from New Orleans, the Golden Era of jazz and beyond. The band works mostly as a trio and quartet, usually without a drummer so space is never an issue. Just as the music is vintage, so is the band with its instrumentation and even dress code. If you're looking for a theme-based event, we can oblige to create the atmosphere of an era gone by. Working with a professional lineup of musicians, Ken can provide a variety of genres within jazz from New Orlean Dixieland to bossa nova, Latin and gypsy jazz.
We require standard grounded power from an outlet. If no power is available, please make a note of it in the details. We can still accommodate no power, but the instrumentation changes and I would need that info up front. Otherwise, we're very easy to accommodate and do not require anything else. If your event is outdoors during the hottest summer months, we ask you provide a tent for shading.
