Kevin Reylek - Magician

I can’t say enough great and amazing things about Kevin! When I started thinking about all the details and uniqueness I wanted for my wedding day I knew I wanted to do something different than the norm. I’m a graphic designer so creative storytelling is a big part of who I am. Also, with our guest personalities and not a ton of people who knew each other or necessarily had the same interests we knew that the traditional dancing wasn’t something we wanted to focus on. After considering some other options that didn’t really feel like the right thing I started thinking about doing a magic show as the primary source of entertainment for our brunch wedding. Well, the only magicians I really knew about were the kinds on tv or at kids parties, no in-between LOL.

I happened upon Kevin’s profile and reached out. It was like I could feel the friendliness through the email! I told him my idea, what I was trying to do and why and he was excited about helping an idea like this come to life!! He told me that coming to cocktail hour would be a great way to get guests who didn’t know each other, to open up and mingle. Then we could do a 30 min show right as brunch was wrapping up. He was very confident and left me with no worries on how everything would turn out.

And boy was Kevin a hit!!! I can’t tell you how many people said to me how amazed they were at what he did and how much fun it was watching and participating in what he put together for the show. He even did a special trick for us as the newly married couple!

I know that it was a pretty off the cuff idea to have a magician at our wedding but I believe it’s one of my favorite choices that I made throughout the process and Kevin, undeniably, was the reason for that. He got to know everyone and was just the nicest human. If you’re looking to add some mind boggling fun to your next event you should definitely hit him up!
