-Types of Magic

Believe it or not, there are several distinct styles of magic that magicians perform. Some magicians prefer one style over the other. Loving the craft of magic as a whole, I have spent years practicing and studying every type of magic.
Maybe you're looking for a magician to mingle around performing tricks while you serve food at your wedding. You may want a magician to set up in your living room for your child's (or your) birthday. You may want to have a magician perform on stage for your school assembly.

-Trade Shows:

Does your company have an upcoming Trade Show? Want to increase your booth traffic? My customized Trade Show magic is the perfect solution! I have spent years perfecting the best way to draw a crowd and keep them at your booth. I have customized tricks that will use your company's business cards as souvenirs as well as unique tricks that are guaranteed to increase your social media followers! People will be sure to show their friends "your" business cards after a card prediction suddenly appears on the back of it... while in their hands!

-Weddings:

Looking to add a little extra "magic" to your special day? My close-up magic is just the thing! I have had the pleasure of performing at numerous weddings throughout the years and take great pride in helping make your special day even more memorable. Cocktail Magic is a great way to entertain your guests while you take those important Wedding Party photos. Often, the newly married couple asks me to stick around an extra hour or two to perform while their guests are eating to give them the time to mingle and thank each guest. Unlike other services that offer separate party and wedding prices, I don't raise my prices just because you're getting married. Of course, I have an original magic trick designed just for each couple in which I produce a souvenir that you can use to remember your magical day!

-Parlor Magic:

Parlor magic is an ideal type of magic to perform inside your house or any other venue you may have to perfectly accommodate your special event. Parlor magic uses bigger props than close-up magic but unlike stage magic, maintains a more intimate atmosphere throughout. This is a perfect type of magic to perform for children's birthday parties, as well as any other events in which you would want your guests to be entertained. These shows typically run forty-five minutes to one hour and could be supplemented with Close-Up Magic before and/or after the show.

-Birthday Parties:

When I was in 9th grade, someone asked me to perform at their child's birthday party. Many years and parties later, this has become one of the most requested shows that I perform. All shows are individually tailored to the average age of the audience. I don't require much room for these shows which allow them to be performed almost anywhere. I bring my own table and, of course, tricks. For an additional price, I also can supply party favors for your guests complete with peanut-free candy and small tricks that your guests can bring home to perform for their family & friends. My birthday shows run 45mins - 1 hour with plenty of audience participation, classic & original tricks, and a special souvenir for the Birthday Child... or Adult!

-Stage Magic:

Stage magic, like Parlor Magic, uses larger, more elaborate, props than their close-up counterparts, and are performed at some distance from the audience. Because of the larger size of the audience, it is not as intimate as Parlor Magic. Depending on the type and size of the event, using one of my Professionally Trained Assistants may be necessary.

This type of magic is most appropriate for adults and children age 5 or older and can be performed anywhere that has enough space for a seated audience and a "stage". If you don't have a stage, I can assemble a portable stage to be used at your event.

-Adult Comedy Magic:

Every now and then, it's great to leave the kids at home! This is a unique style of magic intended for audiences of 18+ only. My Adults Only Magic shows are quickly becoming one of my most popular shows! These shows consist of tricks and illusions that may go over younger audience's heads. These shows also contain racier humor and innuendo as well as magic with "adult beverages". During these shows, I also perform more dangerous illusions. My Adult Magic/Comedy Shows complete with assistants, is the perfect show for your next corporate event, beef & beer, or fundraiser.

-Audience Participation:

The most important part of any magic show is the audience, so my stage/parlor shows are highly interactive and include audience participation for many of the illusions. Birthday party performances include a special treat for which the birthday child (or adult) comes to stand on the "stage" and participates as well. Depending on the size of the audience, when it is possible, I try to include everyone into the act.

Born into a family of entertainers, being front and center has always come naturally to me. When I was five years old, my father taught me my first card trick with which I would astound relatives as well as family friends. Realizing how amazed they were, and enjoying the look on their faces, I quickly began to learn and study sleight of hand. I began to manipulate everything from a coin, card, rope, scarf and any other every day common objects into my props. Just before high school I began to add bigger more elaborate tricks and illusions into my repertoire and started performing professionally.

Nearly twenty years later, I have performed at countless birthday parties, church and school functions, trade shows, weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvah Celebrations, reunions, anniversaries, restaurants, block parties, office functions, symposiums, grand-openings and much more. I have traveled nationwide and performed for audiences as intimate as three people to as large as two thousand. My passion for the craft is expressed in each and every type of performance.
