Playing since the age of 10, Spears' takes the kalimba, a traditional African instrument and masterfully surrounds it with horns, bass, violins, synths, drums and world percussion to create a modern one-man band. My needs are simple and in some cases Im fully self-contained. Here are the two most common scenarios and needs:
1. For a performance space or area holding more than 50 people, venue/event planner will provide a professional sound system with mixer for supplemental sound support 2. 1 AC cord provided within 3ft of performance area.
Technical: 1 mono DI to house, 1 AC chord with 3ft of performance location.
Scenario 2: For intimate settings/spaces with less than 50 people attending, I am fully self-contained, providing my own amp, mics, stands etc.
Venue/Planner will provide an AC outlet within 3ft of performance location.
