K. is a R&B/Neo Soul Vocalist, Spoken Word artist, and songwriter with an old school vibe and a new school appeal. K. is an emerging artist making waves in the Midwest. Over the years, she has done studio work and numerous performances which have included the Indiana Black Expo, Live Radio Performance during Circle City Classic, Radio Commercials, New Years Eve Live performance, Demo's for song writers, Weddings, Band Performances, Including an Indiana Governors Convention, 2012 Super Bowl Appreciation Event, Zoobilation & Zoolapalooza at the Indianapolis Zoo. In 2012, K. opened for for Loose Ends and Kurtis Blow at the Wes Montgomery Park Festival, performed at the 2012 Riverside Park Festival, & was the featured act to kick off the 2013 Summer of Soul Series at The Soul Lounge in Louisville, KY! K. Performed at an NAACP Juneteenth Celebration, opened for Grammy award-winning artist Anthony Hamilton and award-winning SWV (Sisters with Voices) - Columbus, OH, and was slated to share the stage with Carl Thomas, and SWV in Cincinnati, OH, concert performance with Julie Dexter & Headliner, Noel Gourdin at the Soul Lounge - Louisville, KY. In 2021. K. performed in 2019 & 2021 on the stage of The Indianapolis Christmas Gift & Hobby Show at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. K. has graced the stage upon request during open mic platforms at Epic Ultra Lounge, and at The Jazz Kitchen in Indianapolis. K. was the opener in 2021 for The Mind Trust & The Highland Project event, Black Girl Magic: A Fireside Chat event. At the event, K. wrote poetry for two young girls to recite and she performed her original song, 'Pretty Girl', and original poem, 'Brown Girl Like Me' at the Indianapolis Central Library.

K. Huggs also known as K. is a songstress/poet, writer, radio station owner and air personality. Her given name means "Beautiful Flower"! K. lives up to her name by entertaining with positivity, encouragement and sensuality in each performance. Her performances are full of the element of surprise and her audiences love it. K. intentionally uses a variety of producers from Indian, to French to R&B to create a variety of sounds in her work and to project the specific message she intends to convey in each track. K. was previously with the Gospel Group 4Given. In the summer of 2008 & 2009, she performed with the awesome band Sheba at the Indiana Black Expo. Later she joined the Indianapolis band Ground Zero and sang with them from (phone number hidden)2. After leaving GZ, she branched out to write and record her own song, "So Long" which is released on iTunes. After the release of "So Long", K has received many requests for performances, bookings, purchase, etc... As a result, K. was met with the task of need to form a band which she decided is called KRUSH. The idea came from Fans having crushes with band members & that she wants to"Crush it" at every show meaning to put on the best performance possible. She remains an independent artist and continues to write, record and perform soulful music and poetry! In addition to singing and writing, K. owns and operates online Smooth Jazz station Neo Jazz Radio.

K. writes, records, and performs various music genres such as Neo Soul, R&B, Spoken Word, EDM, Inspirational, and Gospel.

I use a dancer in many of my shows. To be able to use him, I'd need a pretty large stage. Also, I can perform to tracks or with a band. However, performing with my full band costs more. Staging will vary based on the specifics of the event. Sound will need to be provided or additional fees will apply.
