Santa Bernard is Philadelphia's "Premier Santa!" At the King of Prussia Mall in 2014, Santa Bernard posed with over 1000 children and adults, from a 2-week old infant, to a 90 year-old World War 2 veteran. Since then, Santa Bernard has served as Santa for many photo studios, corporations and private homes.
Santa Bernard appeared on QVC during their Christmas in July sales, and was featured in the December 2017 issue of Philadelphia Magazine. Santa Bernard appeared in commercials for TD Bank and Delsym Cough Medicine, and in a video for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Santa Bernard will bring "The Joy and The Spirit of Christmas" to any place where people are gathered in "The Spirit of Christmas."
We hired Santa to surprise my daughter and her friend during our annual gingerbread party! Santa read a book, sang songs and made our event magical. I highly recommend this Santa - he is the real deal and delivers Christmas magic to not only the children but the adults as well!

Santa Bernard was delightful to not only work with in the planning process but also witnessing him interact with the guests of the wedding we hired him to be part of. He was gracious when we had to delay his entrance time and also brought so much joyful energy to the reception without stealing the spotlight from the couple. His approach was so balanced. I met Santa Bernard at a “Santa Breakfast” at Maggiano’s restaurant in Cherry Hill New Jersey. I brought my grandkids and family to the event. Santa Bernard was one of the best Santa’s I have ever experienced in any event for the holidays. His ability to engage with the whole crowd…..especially the children was phenomenal. And his outfit [Old World Santa with the long red coat] was impeccable, and he wore it with a very comfortable appearance. I would recommend Santa Bernard to anyone that was looking for an authentic, engaging, real life, Santa for any of event around the holidays.
Santa Bernard did three “Santa Paws” events for our residents and their pets. The feedback was wonderful. He came prepared with dog treats and beds. We will most certainly want him back next year and will be increasing the number of events.

Santa Bernard contacted me right away to discuss the b-day details. He was open to my suggestions on presents, and had his own ideas to make the surprise of his arrival perfect. He was great with all the kids, including some shy ones. He took time with each child even staying a little later than his time to ensure he wasn't rushed. He looked authentic and his outfit was so detailed. It was a great party!
My event hosted around 250, and from the very moment King of Prussia Santa entered the room, he captivated the crowd with song and Christmas cheer. I will absolutely book him again.

We hired Santa Bernard for a corporate holiday party for 375 grown-ups at a beautiful venue in Center City, Philadelphia. He was a HUGE hit. First, I must say, he fully embodies the Santa persona with his kindness, jolliness and genuine good nature. Plus, he was a natural in the photo booth with our guests- we got the cutest pictures! He even got on the dance floor to the delight of our partygoers. His beard is real! And his suit was beautiful- plush and detailed. Santa Bernard really added something special to our event and I was getting compliments about him all evening. He is a must-have at your holiday events - for children AND adults!

Yesterday I hosted a Thank You open house for my 2016 clients. I primarily work with families who have young children, so I knew to make this event extra special that I needed the ultimate visitor of the holiday season. Santa Bernard did not disappoint! From the moment he walked into the door singing to the time he walked out the door jingling his bells he remained one of, if not, the best Santa I ever encountered. I was unsure of how many people would end up coming to my event and my rough estimate today was around 100! Santa Bernard took his time with each and every family. I cannot tell you how many parents told said to me this is the absolute best Santa they had ever met! My own two boys are still super impressed that Mom knows the real Santa! As soon as Santa Bernard opens his schedule for 2017 I'm booking!

Santa Bernard was phenomenal!!! He greeted all the families upon entry and engaged each child in a pleasant a welcoming manner. He was able to get almost every child to take a picture, which can sometimes be difficult for children on the spectrum. He was a gentle giant and we really appreciated his loving and caring demeanor throughout the event.

This was our first year using Santa Bernard for our company's annual Santa event and he blew us away! Here are all the things that make him great:
He has a real beard
His outfit is amazing
He arrived on time, dressed and ready to go
He knows how to talk to the kids and even brought props to try and coax the timid ones to come closer for a picture. He asked them if they were being good, keeping their room clean, brushing their teeth, it was great! He even made sure the kids were posed nicely (hands on their lap, etc).
We had the child's name on each present and he would talk to them by name which really threw a couple kids for a loop!
When he left he stopped for a few more pictures and even sang Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer throughout the breakfast area as he departed and the parents/kids joined in

HOME VISITS: A home visit is usually about 60 minutes, but could be longer, depending on the number in attendance, and the number of photos, and the number of activities.
A few weeks before the visit, I will ask you to send me a list of the children's names, and 1-2 positive events ( good grades; clean room; school, music, art, or sports awards; etc.). This list will be placed in "Santa's Good or Bad Book," and will be read by Santa during the visit. The list can also apply to any adults, but the positives could be: new home; newly married; new child; new job; job promotion; graduation from school; etc.
During Santa's visit, Santa Bernard can; read a story to the children; collect and read the children's wish lists; sing a few Christmas Carols, pose for photos; and hand out pre-wrapped gifts.
Santa Bernard will spend time with each child and ask, “What would you like for Christmas?” If the child has a wish list, Santa Bernard will read the list, and then ask questions such as: "Have you have been good?" "Have you been listening to your parents?" "Have you been keeping your room clean?" "Have you been good to your teachers?" "Are you getting good grades?" "Have you been doing your homework?" Then, after answering the questions, The child is now ready to pose for pictures.
After all of the children have spent time with Santa, the adults can then pose with Santa for pictures. Adults can sit on Santa’s lap, sit next to Santa, kneel in front of Santa, or stand next to Santa.
If gifts are to be distributed, the gifts should wrapped, and have the name of the recipient on a tag attached to the present. ALL gifts should be placed in 2 SEPARATE plastic bags: 1 bag for children’s’ gifts; and 1 bag for adults’ gifts, and then placed outside the front door. Santa Bernard will transfer the bags of gifts into his sack before entering. Santa will distribute the gifts to each child AT THE END OF THE VISIT!

Santa Bernard has served as Santa for many corporate Christmas parties including; ELAP Services in Wayne PA; eMoney in Radnor, PA; Benchmark Construction in Lancaster PA; HiBu in King of Prussia; and INTECH Construction in Philadelphia.
Santa Bernard has also served as the Santa for "Breakfast with Santa" for Maggiano's in King of Prussia, PA, and Maggiano's in Cherry Hill, NJ.

I have been a teacher for about 20 years. Throughout the years, my students (and teachers) have told me, "You look like Santa Claus!" So, about 10 years ago I bought a Santa suit and have been Santa for family and friends. For my 60th birthday, my family and friends sent me to the C.W. Howard Santa Claus School, the "Harvard of Schools for Santa." Since graduating, I have been Santa at many functions such as Breakfast with Santa, Christmas Eve family gatherings, and as my school Santa. In 2014, I had the privilege to be the evening-shift Santa at the King of Prussia Mall. As much as I have enjoyed being Santa at the King of Prussia Mall, it did not allow me enough time to interact with people.
In 2015, I became a member Gig Salad, received over 100 requests, and made about 30 appearances as Santa. Those appearances ranged from a small apartment with 3 people, to large corporate parties with about 200 people. Regardless of the size of the function, I was able to interact with people by reading Christmas stories to children, reading from "Santa's Good and Bad List," engaging ALL in singing Christmas Carols, and posing for pictures with children, adults, and entire families.
For parties where children are present, Santa asks that their hands and faces have been washed, and to not have any food or drinks when taking photos. As for adults, my most important request is to not have any drinks in your hands while being photographed with Santa. The image of Santa does mix with drinks. Last but not least, please have a reserved parking space close to the proximity of Santa's entrance.

Prior to becoming a professional Santa, each Fall, I would allow my naturally white beard to grow. After Thanksgiving Day, I would wear my Santa hat while going out to fast-food restaurants, super markets, or any place out in public. Children and adults would stare at me in amazement, and I would let out a "Ho,ho,ho." Then I would ask them, "Are you being good?" After seeing the joy I brought to children of ALL ages by such a brief encounter, I told myself I needed to take this to the next level and "become Santa."
So, I would say that that those brief encounters, influenced me to "become Santa"
