King Street Bluegrass

We can perform as a trio, with bass, guitar or banjo, or with our full group of 6 members for three part vocal harmony, and fiddle when needed. We have a small footprint and don’t need a lot of space. We can perform amplified or acoustically.

We have instrumental expertise and capability to play instrumentally with no vocals, for square dances, or where old-time music is desired.

With award-winning members, King Street Bluegrass is a traditional bluegrass band with blues, folk, and country influences.
Although based in DC, King Street Bluegrass’ members have rural, farm and coal miner family roots from the mountains of West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Southern Virginia.
They’ll regale you with familiar Bluegrass Country Americana and a original tune or two, beloved by their audiences.

We can play into a single mic set up, or be miked separately.
