Kinvara is a four-person band that plays both traditional and contemporary Irish reels, jigs, and songs.
Their instrumentation consists of whistles, guitar, mandolin, octave mandolin, fiddle, banjo, and the bodhran.
They have been influenced and inspired by several current internationally-acclaimed bands that have arranged traditional and original music, including Solas, Dervish, and the High Kings.
With their heartfelt singing and rich instrumentation, the band’s members embrace and offer a blend of traditional elements of Irish music with a modern flair.
