Kip McAtee Classical Guitarist

Kip was a wonderful and talented entertainer at our family's 80th birthday party. He was very friendly, accommodating, flexible, arrived on-time, and helped set the mood with his music throughout the evening. From oldies to current radio hits, he played a great variety of music that was perfect for all ages. Our family was impressed and enjoyed his music. We would hire Kip again. Highly recommended.

Kip responded quickly to my last minute request for some entertainment for a small 20 person cocktail reception on New Year's Eve. He was punctual and prepared. His choices in music were outstanding. He accommodated requests and read the mood expertly. I'll be using Kip at my next event!

I found Kip on-line through Gig Salad and Wedding Wire. When we met my then fiance and I really liked his down to earth sensibility. I was impressed by his musical ability. Fantastic guitar player. He had no problem with our requests, made a recording of the song we wanted to use (we still love listening to the instrumental, so good) and was more than willing to play with me during the reception. Great guy, great musician!

We hired Kip as our musician for our wedding ceremony as well as the DJ for our reception in January '14.

Kip is truly wonderful. He is very prompt in returning emails and phone calls and is also very professional. We met with him a couple of weeks before our ceremony to go over our song list for the ceremony and reception and found Kip to be very friendly and easy to talk with.

As our ceremony guitarist, Kip did an outstanding job. He even learned a new song at our request - which he played perfectly. All of our guests commented on his skill and the emotion that his playing added to our ceremony.

As the DJ, Kip also did great. He was willing to download all of the songs we asked him to play (we had an extensive list) and did a nice job playing selected songs at special times (first dance, cake cutting, etc.). His sound system was top-notch and his assistant was just as kind and professional as he was.

We are so happy to have been able to have Kip provide our wedding music and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a talented, kind musician/DJ at a very reasonable price.

I needed a guitarist for my wedding ceremony on 8/8/13 on Oahu and found Kip! As soon as I sent him an inquiry, he emailed me back right away. He was very kind and helpful and also directed me to his website where I could hear samples of his music. He was very helpful every step of the way which made the whole process very easy. We met up with him a couple days before the ceremony to go over song selections. He said it was important for him to meet us because he wanted to feel like he was playing at a friend's wedding rather than a strangers wedding. It was so nice to know that he cared about our wedding and he wanted to make it all the more special. When the big day came, Kip was very professional and played beautifully! I highly recommend Kip for any event!
