My name is Stephen Tusing and I am the staff Wedding Photographer for the Golden Horseshoe Inn, located in Stanardsville, Virginia. I offer affordable Digital Wedding Photography, Partial Day Packages to suit your needs, and an Up-Front pricing structure to fit all budgets.
I first began photographing small weddings and elopements in 2008 as a service for guests at my family's Bed and Breakfast in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains where my wife worked as an Innkeeper. I was a web designer at the time and used these occasions to obtain graphic material to help promote their business. More and more couples fell in love with the pictures on the web site and we were soon getting requests for larger weddings. The owners decided to open a second Wedding Venue to host larger parties that parking and space would not allow at the Inn and my wife transitioned from being an Innkeeper to a full time Wedding Coordinator. This opened the door for me to pursue Wedding Photography which I now do on a Professional Part-Time basis.
I love the little details that go into a making memorable wedding day, the excitement of the Bride and her wedding party once she puts on her gown, the emotion of walking down the aisle, and all of the magic that happens in between. True love lives on in the memories and images I capture for you to cherish and share for years to come. I take pride in my work and hope that I may have the honor of joining you to celebrate your wedding day.
Your Wedding Pictures, as a composition, should tell the story of your day. Kiss and Tell Wedding Photography uses a variety of photographic styles to capture the mood and detail of your wedding. For your ceremony and reception, I rely primarily on a photojournalist approach which is un-invasive, allowing you enjoy your wedding and focus on your guests. At certain points in the day, there will be occasion for more traditionally posed photography of the Bride, Groom, Bridesmaids, Groomsman, and Family Members as these are often the preference for framing and sharing. During the course of all shooting, I look for any opportunity to take more artistic and contemporary photographs that will make your wedding album stand out.
My goal is to capture a more candid and genuine collection of images without interrupting the flow and timeline of your wedding. If you have any special requests, I will be more than happy to try and accommodate them.
