Sharon Ann Hickey has always had funny and unusual events happen throughout her life. She sums it up by saying she doesn't just have a black cloud following her, she has the whole storm system. Over the years, she has entertained friends and family with her hilarious stories. In 1997, she even won first place during her first time competing at Go Bananas Comedy Club's amateur night. Ms. Hickey kept notes on these funny tales with the hope of someday getting them in print. In 2014 she began this process and the following year, her debut book; It Could Only Happen To Me, was published. It is her hope that this book brings a smile to the face of each and every reader. Klara-Bella the Clown's story began when Sharon Ann Hickey answered an ad in the newspaper from a company looking for new clowns to train. Although she was already working full time, Ms. Hickey was looking for a “fun job” she could do in her spare time and this ad caught her eye. Her interest paid off and she began her clown career. Even when this job ended, she continued on her own. Years later, she still enjoys entertaining children and adults alike with her balloon creations.
