Krashkourse 4 13 is one of the best bands I have had the joy of hearing. Each musician and singer are amazing in what they bring to the group. Not only do they sing and play, you can tell they put their heart and soul to each frame. A joy and privilege to listen to. I could sit and listen to them all day. Highly recommend giving them the opportunity to come play and sing.

Formed in Pickens County, South Carolina, in 2017, this US Christian band could be found praising and worshipping the Lord at Freedom Biker Church, then located in Liberty, South Carolina. This unique group of individuals came together through their love of music, but more importantly, their love for God. Unlike most bands, Krashkourse 4:13 does not perform just one style of music. These talented musicians are so versatile, they can be found performing an eclectic array of music, such as Christian Rock, Contemporary Christian, Gospel, Country, Bluegrass, and Blues. They are also known for re-writing secular songs to glorify the Lord.
The band’s name was formed through a culmination of ideas; “Krash” being the nickname of the band’s founder, the course in which life’s journey can take one on, and Philippians 4:13 (the band’s life verse). The line-up was initially comprised of the following members: Billy Holder, aka “Krash” (guitar and vocals), Pastor Greg Ramsey, aka “Preacher” (drums), Denise Wright, aka “Nisee” (vocals, keyboard, and handheld percussion), Kaitlyn Holder Alexander, aka “Katie” (bass, guitar, violin, and vocals), and Joel Bates, aka “Chewy” (guitar, vocals, and harmonica).
From 2017 to 2020, Krashkourse 4:13 found itself changing, evolving into what it is today. The first of many changes took place only one month after the band’s formation. After a lot of prayer, “Preacher”, Greg Ramsey decided to step away from the band, opening the doors for another talented drummer to step in. John Steed, aka “Johnboy”, had only been attending Freedom for a short period of time, when he was asked to step in as Preacher’s replacement. In 2018, the band welcomed newcomer, Alex Alexander, aka “Pork Chop”. Alex was a resident of Pickens County and an avid musician. His talents were definitely God given and just what the band needed. He joined the band as their lead guitar player. In 2020, Krashkourse 4:13 noticed the talents of then 14-year old, Alex Shaffer, aka “L.A.”. Alex S. was an up and coming musician who took interest in the guitar and then later keyboard. Krashkourse 4:13 founder, Billy Holder, took interest in this young man and wanted to give him an opportunity to develop his talents. He joined the band, first behind the sound booth, and then later on stage.
In 2022, Krashkourse 4:13 felt a bigger calling to step out into the mission field as a ministry of its own. Following the Holy Spirit’s lead, the band is sharing the word of God through song, to reach one soul at a time.
Krashkourse 4:13 loves performing for the Lord. No matter what lies ahead or where the road takes them, you can be rest assured that this talented group of musicians will be using their God given gifts for His glory.
We will need enough of room for seven people to be spread out. We have out own sound equipment. We will need access to power.
