Krema Lyutskanova was born in Shumen, Bulgaria. Music becomes the driving force in her life very early on and she takes her first piano lessons at the age of 5. As her love for music and the bond with her piano continues to grow stronger and deeper, she decides to actively pursue her interest and she enrolls in a specialized music class in Sava Dobroplodni High School in Shumen. There she studies piano under PHD Janeta Kacarova, who is presently the assistant to Professor Veneta Vicheva. Veneta Vicheva tutors in Shumen University and is a well-known student of the prominent Bulgarian professor Georgi Petrov who himself is a student of none other than Olivier Messiaen. This is where Krema makes her decision to pursue music as a profession. She graduates in 2001 under Prof. Georgi Petrov with a BA degree in Piano Performance and Teaching.
During this time Krema actively begins to pursue her career in music. She performs at concerts, festivals, TV shows and competitions throughout Europe – in Bulgaria, Greece, England and Scandinavia. In 2004, Krema has the amazing opportunity to join the Entertainment Department on the Carnival Cruise Lines as a cocktail pianist. Having been trained as a classical pianist, the latter presents a great challenge for her to learn, experiment and master the fusion of American and European music. She gracefully succeeds in achieving a harmonious, unique blend that puts her on the map and her shows quickly gain popularity and attendance. Her talent receives such great response from the audiences that a year later she is chosen to open up for such musical legends as Boyz II Men, En Vogue and The Gap during her time on Carnival Destiny.
2008 brings a new challenge for Krema and her family when they decide to move to the USA and open up a brand new page in their life. Her successful music career continues to evolve and expand as the pianist, composer and music teacher is faced with the new challenge to create and introduce an inspiring and intriguing melodic blend of American and Bulgarian culture, which makes all of us want to go back and listen some more.
