LTD, with over 50 years of combined playing experience, is committed to providing professional, high-quality entertainment. Both LTD members, Jim Ferrantini and Marcus Deveso, have compiled exciting arrangements of a wide variety of Latin, Jazz, Swing, Pop, and Holiday tunes!

Our organization can not say enough about The Lance Tanner Duo! They arrived early, dressed classy, sounded perfect. (Mellow jazz classics) My director wants to have them back. We chose them because we know they would not create overpowering , disruptive noise. People were put at ease and could still hear each other over the banquet tables. They received many compliments and really made things lovely and smooth. They even helped us with brief announcements and agreed to share their sound system with the Emcee, which was very appreciated. Five stars you two!!

The Lance Tanner Duo played at our wedding on August 5th. They were wonderful and exceeded our expectations. We hosted a very small wedding with about 30 guests followed by a dinner. They played beautiful instrumental music for the entirety of our event, and our guests loved them. We booked them on very short notice, and they accommodated us so well and even provided us with suggestions as to what songs we should use during our ceremony. Their level of communication and professionalism was beyond what we could have hoped for and we are so grateful to have had their music playing on our special day.

I saw these guys at Spot coffee. I didn't expect live music, but was pleasantly surprised! They played a crazy variety...some jazz, and even some classic rock (I think it was light my fire by the doors). Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy chilling to some cool tunes!

What to Expect
You'll hear us play all kinds of tunes with strong melodies and a variety of rhythms tailored to your needs. We can play cool and subdued if background music is what will complement your event best, or we can bring it all out front for a real performance if your event calls for it.
About
We are Marcus and Jim and together we are the Lance Tanner Duo! We play instrumental versions of all the jazz standards and lots of pop tunes all arranged for two guitars. We've been playing a long time and can provide you with music that sets the mood for a great event. Whether its a cocktail party, a picnic, a corporate luncheon, dinner music from casual to formal settings, an evening at the coffee house, a special event anywhere from nursing homes to country clubs, or a complete performance all on its own, we are committed to delivering you fine musical entertainment that complements and enhances your event.

Influences & Inspiration
We have been strongly influenced by so many great guitar players, Martin Taylor and Tommy Emmanuel especially. We have been very fortunate to have taken lessons from Martin Taylor and to have had him perform here in Buffalo each of the past two years.
