Lane Lassiter

Lane Lassiter bore a striking resemblance to Michael Jackson, even as a small child. One of his favorite childhood pastimes was entertaining his family by dancing like James Brown.

In the late '70s Lane started impersonating Jackson seriously after some of his college friends dared him to dress like Michael in the 'Off The Wall' album cover at a Livingston College basketball game in Salisbury, North Carolina. Throughout the '80s Lane performed in top New York City night clubs such as Studio 54, the world famous Copacabana, The Red Parrot, Celebrity Club in Harlem and The Lime Light. As a regular in Studio 54 Lane met celebrities such as Rick James, Eddie Murphy, Tatum O' Neal and others. After performing in New York for ten years, Lane left to perform in the show 'Rock Party and Masquerade' at the Alhambra casino at the Divi Divi Hotel Resort for five years in Aruba.

Shortly after returning to the U.S. Lane auditioned for a show called 'An Evening At La Cage' in Atlantic City. Producers immediately flew him out to Las Vegas, Nevada where he joined a cast of other celebrity impersonators and performed as Michael Jackson for over twenty years in the show 'An Evening at Lacage' at the Riviera Hotel and Casino.

Lane has met Michael Jackson's parents and siblings on several occasions and even appeared with Michael's father, Joseph Jackson, in the magazine 'The National Inquirer'.

His look is uncanny and he is considered one of the greatest Michael Jackson tributes in the world.
