Lanny Farmer is one of the most well known comedians in Athens, Ga. His comedy is a mixture of one-liners, dark humor, and observations. Over the years, Lanny has honed his craft in clubs, bars, and the occasional college campus. He is able to deliver clean comedy as well as work for a more adult crowd. Whether the demographic is young or old, he is able to deliver a performance that most will find memorable.

Lanny has a cool calm demeanor when delivering a joke, his wit , personal stories mixed in with sharp humor made an entertaining night. He slogged through an initial tough crowd who wanted to socialize , rather than be entertained, but got their attention when he started down his litany of jokes and humor. We had a wonderful event, very successful fundraiser. Thanks to Lanny, Recommend him for your GIG.

I rated this comedian as a five because he was dependable. Mr Farmer had something to come up at the last minute, but before he called me to inform me he had already gotten me a replacement. He was very apologetic and made sure his replacement knew what was to be expected. This says a lot about Mr Farmers overall character.

Lanny and his team put on a great show event with lots of laughter I would definitely recommend him. He was great with communication and recommendations.

We had about 30 minutes session with Lenny to celebrate one of our friend' 60th surprise Bday party. Lanny was hilarious in a sophisticated way! Due to matured audience, I had asked him to keep it clean which he absolutely did and made the crowd laugh! We had a great time with Lanny!

I am so glad that we brought Lanny and his openers to our Club. Lanny was super easy to coordinate with and was on time and ready to go! Him and his openers were a great time and our members loved listening to their hilarious stories. Would highly recommend!! :)

About
Lanny Farmer is an Athens comedian who started his comedy journey in the summer of 2013. After months of writing jokes and attending open mics, he finally got the courage to go on stage. After his first show at Laughing Skull in Atlanta, in front of family and friends (that didn't disown him afterwards), he decided this was a dream he wanted to pursue. Now, after years of performing at clubs, bars, frat houses and the occasional house party, Lanny is one of the best known Athens comedians and a staple in the scene. He performs regularly in the city and at Atlanta comedy venues including Laughing Skull Lounge and The Punchline. He has featured for Dom Irrera, Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live) and Caleb Synan. He has also produced and hosted shows in Bethlehem, Athens, Braselton and Duluth. Come to a show and see his deadpan style of comedy that most describe as "not bad."
