Payam Larijani, Classical Guitarist

Payam's influences include Andres Segovia, the great classical guitarist.

Currently Payam is in the PHD DMA program, on a music scholarship at Claremont Graduate University, studying Classical Guitar Performance with Jack Sanders of The Pacific Symphony, and The Los Angeles Philharmonic.

After studying music at UCLA and CSULA, Payam's list of performances include, Public Concerts, Private Events, Weddings, and Parties. Payam has been a featured performer at many UCLA Alumni Events, Chancellor's Milestone Fundraiser Dinner, Powell Library Rotunda Series Concerts, and opening for special guest Hip Hop Artist and Actor, Saul Williams, Slam/HBO.

Payam also enjoys creating an eclectic blend of classical guitar with other musical styles. What makes Payam interesting and different, is his approach towards performance of the classical guitar, and the specific repertoire that he plays. He brings a well-rounded thinking approach to music, which soothes the soul and intrigues the mind.
