Hello! I'm a singer/actress here in Atlanta, who has had the chance to serve weddings in many ways: helping coordinate the day of, being apart of many bridal parties, and also on the catering side!
But my absolute favorite way to be involved is to help serenade the special day! Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, and it would be my honor to help make it even more special! 💜
*Also available for other singing events* Please just send a message and we’ll get the convo started :)
LaTricia is an amazingly talented vocalist who is also simply wonderful in every regard. We were blessed to have her sing 2 Chriatian selections at a Celebration of Life Service last Saturday. Without doubt, one of the highlights of the evening's program. Our guests could not stop singing her praises. Thank you, LaTricia for blessing us with your presence and talent.
The first time I heard LaTricia sing was at Blueprint Church in Atlanta, GA. I was amazed! I loved the versatility of her voice- a mix between jazz and gospel. While planning my wedding, I wanted live music during the ceremony but didn’t think it was possible or affordable. I reached out to LaTricia and told her my vision and she was ON IT. She took the burden off of my shoulders and got a band together. She did all the planning and coordinating with the DJ. She organized a practice session a couple of days before the wedding and FaceTimed me in. I was in tears. She made my dream come true. LaTricia and the band sang Sam Smith “Lay me down” as I walked down the aisle and Israel Houghton “Moving foreword” during bride and groom communion. I will forever remember how special the music made the ceremony. LaTricia is so hard working and has a sweet servant heart.
I was a nervous wreck of a mess bride minutes before I headed down the aisle. But as soon as I heard Latricia’s voice from down the hall, I was immediately calmed. She has a very special gift and I and my guests thoroughly enjoyed hearing her sing. She sung both a love song for the processional and a gospel song for our unity candle lighting/communion. Both were phenomenal. Your wedding day or other event needs her!
Latricia sang a worship medley at our wedding and we had the best experience working with her! She was prompt and provided EXACTLY what we were looking for with little direction from us (we gave her the songs we wanted and pretty much gave her creative reign from there) We received tons of compliments about her amazing voice and professionalism. We were/are extremely pleased and will definitely be hiring her for future events. Highly recommend!

What I plan to offer to any client is thoroughness, professionalism, fun, and a true performance!
With some weddings and events I've done in the past, I've been very precise with talking with the clients beforehand to see what exactly the goal is.
"What songs, feel or mood are you aiming towards?"
And don't worry, if you're not sure, we can figure it out together!
I can GUARANTEE you will be satisfied from booking until the very end of the event! :)
I’m LaTricia “Tank” Akhagbeme, and I’m a singer/actress based in Atlanta!
I’ve been singing and clapping my hands to the beat since I was about 5 years old! Having a drummer as a dad, and choir director as a mom, I had no choice but to fall in love with music.
During my sophomore year of college, I was surprisingly asked to lead worship for a missions trip I was attending. It was then that I found a whole new love for leading worship! In addition to that, some of my favorite genres are Soul, R&B, Jazz, Pop...just to name a few :)
My resume includes performing at events for Dan Cathy (CEO of Chick-Fil-A), worship leader with North Point Ministries, musical theater with City Springs Theater Company, as well as multiple weddings with various corporate bands in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast.
I look forward to bringing a little more joy to your next event! ☀️
Depending on the venue/event; technicalities can go from very minimal, to somewhat complex...but not THAT complex. Lol
On average, for weddings in a small venue - all I would really need is a microphone, floor amp and maybe a music stand.
For larger venues with higher ceilings and more complex sound systems, I would need the same as above, but also potentially in-ear monitors (which I would provide) & a personal sound pack.
That's it for me! Pretty simple, overall.
