Laughing Matters

If you hire Laughing Matters, we'll provide you with professional, hilarious, and interactive show or event that you'll never forget. We'll engage with your group from start to finish - discussing your exact needs over the phone, planning the technical elements needed to produce it, and providing you with the best actors, comedians, and facilitators Atlanta has to offer! Oh, and our comedy is PG-13, so no need to worry about offending a boss or a grandmother.

For improv shows, we take your group's suggestions to create games, scenes, and songs on the spot (similar to television's "Whose Line is it Anyway?"). We can easily incorporate honored guests or a specific theme into the show!

For corporate training, we'll work with your team on your designated topic! We'll discuss your group's needs beforehand and customize an afternoon of team building, role playing, and adaptable business skills all based on the tenets of improvisation. Most importantly, we'll have fun!

Our murder mysteries are full evening immersions! You'll select your favorite from a list of colorful themes, your guests will meet the suspects during cocktails, and we'll perform a 3-act mystery over the course of a full meal. We then provide a great interactive question-and-answer period where your guests solve the mystery, we reveal the killer, and prizes are awarded!

Founded in 1985, Laughing Matters is the longest-running comedy improv company in Atlanta. Our mission is to use improvisation and humor to provide interactive entertainment and education that enriches the lives of our audiences.

Over the past 30 plus years, we've grown from a small improv group to a thriving, full-scale interactive entertainment business that employs Atlanta's top comedy professionals (many of whom you are likely to have seen regularly on stage and screen). Laughing Matters also writes, produces, and teaches all of their own original content, and regularly partner with some of the largest companies in the world.

We have worked with businesses including IBM, Coca-Cola, AT&T, The Ritz Carlton, Johnson & Johnson, and Miller-Coors, as well as numerous festivals, schools, camps, churches, and private clients all over the Southeast.

We have a production manager on staff that can work with your group to figure out the best lighting, sound, and stage options for what you're working with.
