Laura has made a lasting impression on my 3 year old daughter and her friends. She was very friendly and patient with the kids. She looks as real of a mermaid as the once you see on TV. Even the adults at the party where amazed. She gave a kids ride on her back, she sang songs, and they touched her tail, talked. She most definitely has made our party magical. She has even gone above and beyond the call of duty in helping us find a venue for our party. We would recommend her to anyone. Thank you for everything Laura, you Rock !!!

Mermaid Laura came to our 5-year old's mermaid birthday pool party. The girls were so surprised to find her in the pool after they called her on the magic seashell. Laura did a great job including all the little girls in the fun. She was funny, sweet, and very professional. Laura was also very patient with fielding LOTS of questions from 9 5-year old girls. Thank you, Laura, for making it a party our daughter will definitely remember!

Laura the Mermaid has a variety of packages available. Every appearance is customizable for your special occasion and tailored to fit your budget. She can sit in a stationary place and pose for photos in her giant clam shell and entertain while seated with stories, songs, and temporary tattoos. She can swim and smile, posing for photos above or below the water with other swimmers. And finally, she can perform a 30 minute show, set to music, demonstrating her mermaid skills such as flips, twists, bubble shapes, and an extended breath hold.
Laura the Mermaid is from the NeverLand Lagoon, but makes her home in the Dallas- Fort Worth Metroplex. With the help of a NeverLand Pirate, she'll swim anywhere to be a part of your event!

Laura the Mermaid is fluent in Mermaid, American Sign Language, Spanish, and English. She speaks a little Romanian, Mandarin Chinese, and Russian.
Laura the Mermaid is the founder and operator of The MerFriends, a professional troupe of believable mermaids, mermen, and pirates.
Laura the Mermaid will provide the seashell blown to summon her, a few dive toys, and her own costume, hair, makeup, and mermaid props. If booked, Laura the Mermaid can also provide a giant seashell photo booth for dry events.
For swimming events, the event planner needs to provide the water source (at least 7 feet long, 4 feet wide, and 3 feet deep for swimming). There is also the option of the event planner renting a portable tank for Laura the Mermaid to swim in.
If music is scheduled, Laura the Mermaid will provide a basic sound system and all music.
