Lauren was just fantastic! She was very reasonably priced, a great communicator, understood my request/specifics, had good ideas/great advice, was very accommodating, helped to pull in a singing guitarist who (with Lauren) more than doubled the beauty of the moment, and executed and played flawlessly and beautifully!
You could tell she really cared and wanted to make my proposal to my girlfriend special. She played for us on the beach, was discrete as I was trying to completely surprise my girlfriend (mission accomplished!), and even continued to play and sing when it rained! Talk about commitment! I can't say enough how much she made my proposal even more special, playing and dancing in the rain fun, and helped to put a smile on my fiancé's face that is still there today!

Lauren was amazing! She played during the ceremony and cocktail hour of our small wedding and all my guests raved about her. We had some concerns about her being able to play with the weather conditions but she showed up either way and made it work. She was easy to work with and I highly recommend her. I just wish I got to hear more of her music, but she was playing while I was getting pictures taken.

Oh wow, Lauren helped my husband and I create one of the most memorable experiences we have had in 16 years! We celebrated our 10 year and did a renewal of vows on the beach in Jax. A major part of our friendship/marriage revolved around music. For instance, one of our wedding songs was Led Zeppelin’s Thank You and Mrs Lauren learned this song and played it during our ceremony. Also, she played as another gift, an extremely unique song by widespread panic, genesis. This is the song that David and I danced to at our wedding !
She blew our mind and all of our pals in the audience were in awe listening to her harmonious talents drifting thru the spring air on that beautiful, special evening!
It’s beyond incredible to hear our favorite songs playing thru her strings!

While her playing was beautiful. She only played for 15 minutes before the ceremony, I was stuck in traffic so it was delayed by about 20 minutes. She just stood there until I arrived.

Typically during a wedding ceremony, I will begin pre-wedding music when the first guest arrives and pause a few moments before the start of the ceremony to allow for a grand entrance of the wedding party. Unfortunately, I had no way of knowing how late you were going to be. Although I had another commitment immediately following your wedding, I decided to stay longer than the time I was booked for so that you would be able to walk out to some beautiful music.

Lauren played for our wedding ceremony and did a fabulous job. She was at the site early and played the music we discussed beautifully. She responds to messages quickly and is pretty flexible. I highly recommend her. You won't be disappointed.
I hired Lauen to play for my wife and I at our 20th Annirversary dinner. She was awesome. She is a wonderful musician. She learned a concerto just for our dinner. Services Offered: Violin accompanied with: piano, singing, guitar, or a combination of any of those. Over 30 years of experience! Specializing in weddings, anniversaries, funerals, holiday parties, and birthday parties.
Lauren Farrell: A Florida native, Lauren began playing violin at the age of four and has loved it ever since. Songwriting and singing inspired her to begin learning the guitar, ukulele, and piano. Weddings and anniversaries are her forte with hundreds of romantic songs in her repertoire.
Lauren currently teaches private music lessons from her home studio in Neptune Beach, FL.
The violin is usually loud enough on its own. I have an amp and microphone for events that require the guitar/singing. I bring a speaker if I need to play along to a background track.
For events that are outside:
The violin is extremely sensitive to moisture, heat, and wind. If rain is eminent, it is likely that I won’t be playing the violin outdoors. Without an indoor plan B location, it is possible that I won’t be able to provide music and the fees will be non refundable on the day of. Please keep this in mind as you plan your event.
