The harp has a beautiful, resonant sound that works well for solo or background music. I typically play a blend of pop music, love songs, and classical music to create a beautiful, elegant sound. I play harp for a variety of events such as wedding ceremonies, parties, showers, etc.

Lauren was so great to work with for our wedding ceremony at Latrobe's. She played a mixture of classical and modern music during our guest arrival, the procession and recession, and it all was so beautiful. Her music really added an extra air of elegance to the whole event. She was also super communicative and easily covered all our requests.

What to Expect
I typically play a blend of pop music, love songs, and classical music to create an elegant sound.
If booking for wedding ceremonies, I will send a form to you where your music choices can be selected for each element of your ceremony. I keep a repertoire list of songs to help you choose. I'm happy to take requests with advance notice. I want your music to be special for your day!
If booking for other events such as parties, I can provide background music for 1-3 hours. The harp sounds great on its own, and it is never overpowering for events.

About
I graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with Bachelor and Master degrees in music. I started my music career as a piano teacher. During that time, I learned to play the harp (something I always wanted to do) and fell in love with its sound and beauty. I regularly play harp for wedding ceremonies and other private events.
Additional Booking Notes
I have a grand pedal harp, which typically does not need amplification. In ball rooms and other indoor spaces, the harp resonates well. I bring my own instrument and everything I need to your event.
For large events, a microphone can be placed near the harp to amplify its sound.
For outdoor weddings or events, I require a smooth, flat surface to place the harp on (such as a sidewalk or pavement). The harp cannot be placed where it can get wet.
