I specialize in playing saxophone with high quality customized backing tracks. I'm new to Gig Salad but I've been doing this for a long time. I have the very best equipment for the job so my saxophone and flute sound exceptionally clear and vivid. I have an atypically sophisticated and vast repertoire of jazz, pop, Broadway, novelty and international music, all 100% memorized (no music sheets etc) that appeals to the widest possible audience. I am courteous, sensitive to appropriate volume level requirements, polished, professional high energy and always in the moment on and off the stage. and bring joy, color and cosmic energy flow to every situation. What to Expect
I always show up early for gigs to have plenty of time to set up calmly and solve any unforeseen issues that occasionally can occur. For me to to do my job, I am a consummate professional on and off the stage and you can expect an exceptional experience by hiring me. About
I started violin as a young child before switching to sax. I was a public school band director and busy freelance musician for the first part of my adult life in NYC, before moving to Costa Rica in 2019. I was there for four years all through Covid. Down in CR, I met the love of my life and we got married in 2021 We moved to Brevard County FL in 2023 so she could be with her extended family. They are from Argentina. Playing with backing tracks is something I started doing in Costa Rica at beachside resorts and clubs, and I now have brought this business to Florida, where I am having success getting this new business off the ground. I am doing all sorts of gigs from playing in local big bands, small group jazz, and of course working at clubs and restaurants and events playing with my backing tracks. I have now teamed up with an exceptional local singer, Ms. Irina Freckle. Please inquire about hiring us as a dynamic musical duo! I think the most important things for people to know about me is ( not necessarily in this order) that I'm a consciencious and hard working man who gives 100% effort into everything I do, I do what I love, I put my family's needs before my own, I don't have any sense of entitlement, I show up early to jobs, and my favorite color is purple. Additional Booking Notes
I require at minimum 36' sq. ft area to set up,(6' x 6'). A safe and shaded area (for daytime) out of reach of sun, rain and most wind. If the job is at night and the weather is clear, I can often set up outside without a cover, but there should be a plan B for poor weather conditions. I cannot afford to sacrifice many 1000s of $$ of equipment.

From Led Zeppelin to Frank Sinatra to Stan Getz and Astrud Gilberto, to Ella Fitzgerald to Aretha Franklin to Louis Prima to Paul McCartney to Stevie Wonder to Maria Callas to Joni Mitchell to Amy Winehouse and on and on. I was not blessed with a great singing voice, so I sing through my saxophone. Playing great melodies on saxophone opens a lot of creative possibilities for personal expression and beauty, but it requires a very high level of musicianship and artistic sensitivity to make it work.
