For over 20 years Laz has been entertaining audiences across the country.

Laz’s career began at Rider University & Ramapo College where he is a founding member of “The Peanut Gallery” the college’s first comedy troupe. Laz wrote, produced and acted in the original sketch comedies ranging from satire to musicals.

In New York City he found work with several theater companies becoming a player and resident director. He portrayed comedian Freddie Prinze in the play “Comedians of Color” and was so influenced by Prinze’s passion he began doing stand-up comedy.

Laz became a fixture in the New York City stand-up scene. He has earned kudos for his performance in the winner of the 2007 HBO NYILFF best short film “REWIND. ”

He was a featured comedian in the 2007 Hollywood Latino Laugh Festival and 2008 TBS Las Vegas Comedy Festival. He also appears in the feature film “Stand-up 360.”

In 2011 Laz became a cast member and writer for“The Tunite Show con Lorenzo Parro”, on NBC/Telemundo.

In 2015 he was cast in the feature-length comedy, The Stockroom.
