Brett also facilitates engaging team development sessions to foster growth and understanding through Socratic methods, such as asking the right questions. In real-time, he can devise narratives about organizational culture, team dynamics, and gap assessments that prepare participants to tackle the issues facing their personal, professional, and leadership lives.

With a decade of professional experience in public policy, education, and nonprofits, Brett is a leadership expert and educator who has published commentary and research on topics such as civic education, Social Security, doctoral education, community-based learning, and college readiness. A former local school board member, housing authority commissioner, and university student government president, his life has been dedicated to public service at the local level. The first-generation college graduate has earned a bachelor's in political science and communication, and a master's in public administration, and is nearing the end of his PhD journey in leadership. He is a Certified Nonprofit Executive who has helped organizations create cultures of excellence and improvement through strategic thinking, mission focus, and a people-first orientation.

Quality lighting and sound is all that's needed. Depending on the organizer's goals, a slide screen may be useful. Brett prefers to improvise at the mic and customize his sessions to the client's needs.
