Leah Boyd

As a classically trained pianist and vocalist, and as a full-time church pianist, I have a wide variety of piano and vocal classics and hymn arrangements already prepared in my repertoire. I am also open to prepare any new selections asked of me.

I have been a classical pianist for over a decade and am an active performer of both classical piano and vocal repertoire. I am currently the church pianist at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Columbus, MS, and the pianist for the Starkville Symphony Orchestra and MSU Women of State choir. I also teach piano students though the MSU Community Music School. I have received the Mississippi State University Music Department Best Musician Award and Choral Director’s Award, a National Museum of Women in the Arts Scholarship, and was the 2016 Alabama State Outstanding Choral Student.

I am an experienced performer in both big and small venues, so I am comfortable with any range of tech available.
