LeFiddler Performance

LeFiddler is a professional Cuban musician who graduated from the "Esteban Salas" Conservatory of Music in Santiago de Cuba. He is a violin and viola specialist and a composer, producer, and founder of VT_Band. From a young age, he demonstrated exceptional musical talent and was involved in renowned projects that gained international recognition.
In 2010, LeFiddler was awarded the Cubadisco Award for his contribution to the production "Popularly Symphonic" in collaboration with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Oriente, where he served as the principal of the Viola section. He is a well-known member of the Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba Company. He has performed on major international stages such as the National Auditorium of Mexico, playing to audiences of over 10,000 people.
Throughout his illustrious career, he has appeared on notable Cuban television programs such as "Quien Vive" (2017) and "La Banda Gigante" (2018), where he gained recognition as a soloist and shared the stage with Cuban artists of international fame, including Alain Perez, Jose Luis Cortez, Arturo O'Farril, Samuel Formell y Los Van Van, Gente de Zona, and Omara Portuondo, Alfredo de la Fe among others.
LeFiddler's musical style is characterized by his proficiency in Afro-Cuban music and jazz, which he honed while performing with groups such as Francisco and his Cuban Afro-Jazz and the Orquesta Típica of Santiago de Cuba.
In 2021, LeFiddler was selected by the SAE Institute of Music Production as one of the candidates chosen for the scholarship (Electroacoustic Music Production) at the international headquarters of the institution in Madrid. He has co-produced different musical productions and studied with renowned teachers such as Quantic, a recognized producer in England, with whom he co-produced two songs on the album Atlantic Oscillations, recorded at the Siboney Studios in Santiago de Cuba in 2016 under the Universal Music label.
In 2022, while studying for his Master's Degree at NJCU New Jersey, he created VT_Band. In this project, his creation line is based on sound experimentation through effects pedals and other music technologies complemented with visual material such as 3D Mapping. The essence of the group consists of complementing its compositions and spaces for creation and improvisation in such a way that the songs always present something new that reflects the inspiration of the artists during the performance, having the violin as a soloist, exploring different timbres and styles of this instrument. Each member plays several instruments during the performance, allowing for more sound flexibility.
In 2023, LeFiddler was integrated among the promoting artists of the Carbon Fiber violin brand Glasser NY, where he currently remains. In the next year, 2024, he will also be added to the OpenFabPDX brand, a 3D-printed violin brand with biodegradable and pioneering materials in integrating LED lights completely into the body of the violin.
Currently, LeFiddler also carries out educational work with students at Jersey City University, for which he was invited in 2024 to the American String Teachers Association as an exponent to the Yamaha, NJCU, and Glasser NY Booth.
LeFiddler is an innovative musician who fuses the violin, viola, synthesizers, and other technological accessories to create and promote instrumental music by fusing it with unimaginable genres. He is currently producing his first musical album as a solo artist in Miami and New York, reflecting his compositions and work as a performer, producer, editor, and arranger.
He also resides in New York, where he completed a master's degree in Multi-Styles Performance and Composition. His studies were guided by the prestigious 2024 Grammy winner Martha Mooke and included collaboration with renowned musicians such as Joe Denitzon, Regina Carter, Tracy Silverman, Matt Bell, Jerry Wonda, Tenzin Choegyal, Jhon Benítez, and Dave Eggar, among others. This unique combination of mentorship and collaboration has significantly enriched his musical development and professional career.
