We had Lelando at a family retreat for kids and teens with disabilities. He was great to work with, quick communication, and tons of fun for the kids. He did his show plus balloon making! The kids and parents loved him! We will definitely have him back in the future!

Lelando literally made our daughter’s 5th birthday magical! Lelando the Magician and Balloon Twister performed at our Military Appreciation Day. We had 100s of families turn out with their children. Lelando was a big hit, with lines all day for his performance. He was great with the kids, and was a highlight of the event. We would definitely have him back.

Lelando performed a 40 minute magic show and created animal balloons for our 8 year old daughters birthday party. He was really patient with the children and kept the kids engaged.
His animal balloons are amazing (he can do some really complicated ones) as well as some really cute animal balloon bracelets. His balloons lasted for a long time too (for those children who were careful with them) and were great quality. I highly recommend him for birthday parties or other fun events.

We had Leland MC our 50th anniversary party for my parents. He did an amazing job. He was prepared, and professional. He led the evening with our version of the Newly Wed game and our walk down memory lane. He did excellent with the material we gave him. Everyone was entertained and happy with his delivery. Lelando did balloon twisting for our 5 year old's birthday party at a playground and did a great job managing the line of kids and guiding them to select animals that wouldn't take 20 minutes a piece to twist :)

Lelando we fantastic. He brings a great sense of humor to his performance. Due to space constrains we needed customized magic where he directly engaged with people in small groups. He did fantastic!!! There are always a few people in the crowd that seem to not be big on magic, but Lelando charmed them and made fans of everyone.

Lelando did an amazing job. The event we had was an outdoor event, and of course mother nature had other plans. The wind was unrelenting, and was wreaking havoc on his setup. Lelando worked through the adversity and put on a great show for our Community Picnic. He performed for over 50 children and many more adults. The show had great content and really amazing tricks. Our organization will gladly use him again.

Price Range: $150 and up
What to Expect
Before we book your event, I will ask you plenty of questions, to be sure that I am the right entertainer for your event, and to be sure that I know exactly what you want. By the time your event arrives, you'll know exactly what to expect. Most importantly, I know that my job is not nearly as much about the magic of sleight-of-hand as it is the magic of helping your guests have the best time possible. And in the end, that's exactly what you can expect!
About
Lelando has been performing for audiences for the better part of four decades! His experiences include countless hours on stage as an actor, musician, and emcee, long before he ever took up magic. As such, he is not just another magician and balloon twister, he is a true entertainer and performer, who blends these skills into an unforgettable experience.
Additional Booking Notes
If we are booking a stage-show, please communicate with me about your venue and what items you already have on-hand for Lighting, Sound, and Staging.
If the venue has its own sound system and an operator (sound tech), I'll need the ability to plug in a wireless mic system (XLR preferred, 1/4" capable) and an MP3 player (1/8" Stereo headphone-style plug).
If the venue cannot provide sound, I can bring my own small PA system, which will comfortably support an audience of up to ~100 people.
As noted elsewhere, for stage shows, I require a space approximately 10' wide and 6' deep. Your 'Stage' doesn't necessarily have to be a real stage; it can be one end of your living room or patio, and I can bring my own curtain backdrop. If you are uncertain, contact me to discuss the area (sending photos of the space will help, too), so we can make sure I'm prepared with a show that will work in your space!
Services Offered
Setup Requirements
When performing a stage show, I don't actually require a real stage, per se. If your event is in the home or office, it could be as simple as being one end of a room.
When not using a real stage, I will bring a curtain backdrop.
Please have an accessible power outlet within 5' of the stage.
Minimum area needed for the 'stage' is 10' wide by 6' deep.
