Lewis played the music for our wedding ceremony on 9.1.19 and he did amazing! We booked him fairly late in the game on a recommendation of a friend after someone different backed out on us. I sent him a list of songs that I wanted played on accoustic for the ceremony and a couple for him to sing. They couldn't have sounded any better! He was so easy going and easy to work with. He was professional and came dressed for a wedding. I can't recommend him highly enough!

If folks are in the dancing mood, I can amp it up with some Johnny Cash or Stevie Wonder. I'm good at reading crowds, playing music that matches their energy level, and playing at an appropriate volume level for the occasion.
I am a full-time musician based in the Quad Cities, IL/IA.
I have an extensive repertoire of cover music, as well as original songs I have written over the years.
I have played hundreds of wedding ceremonies, receptions, and private company parties.
I know volume can be an issue with some musicians - I am always very mindful of keeping an appropriate volume level for each occasion. Clients always tell me: "The volume was perfect!"
In 2013 I toured in Germany, Netherlands, England, and Denmark to promote my original music, and both of my albums are currently enjoying airplay on Iowa Public Radio.
In 2016 I've toured the Eastern U.S. as well as South Korea for one week. I recorded a session of original music with Daytrotter, a Quad Cities-based streaming service for recordings of original music, and am working on my 3rd studio album.
I am able to bring all my own sound equipment. If there is a sound system already at the venue, please put me in touch with the person in charge of it so I can arrange specifics with them.
Upon request, I can also bring an adapter to play any ipod/iphone music through my sound system.
