The Hayride Event at Hunt House Museum & Park was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment the Horse & Wagon arrived, the festive atmosphere and sense of community were evident. This was the largest event the East Providence Historical Society has ever hosted, with over 300 attendees, and it was clear why so many people came out to enjoy the day.
The horse-drawn hayrides were enchanting, accompanied by a solo guitarist playing holiday tunes that added a beautiful soundtrack to the ride. The sunny weather was a delightful gift, making the entire park feel warm and inviting. Volunteers were friendly and welcoming, guiding visitors through the library exhibit, museum tours, and even walking tours of the historic grounds.
One of the most memorable touches was the hot chocolate—served in abundance—with countless children and adults sporting chocolate moustaches and big smiles. To top it all off, a jovial juggler brought laughter and whimsy to the event, truly embodying the theme of a "Festive Flashback to Simpler Times."
The East Providence Historical Society outdid itself with this event, creating an experience that celebrated both the season and the rich history of the Hunt House Museum & Park. It’s a must-attend for anyone looking to enjoy a community-focused, heartwarming day. I can't wait to see what they have planned for next year!

Awesome Experience with Liberty Farm!! My 3 year old daughter rode the horses for a full hour and loved it! The owners are very nice, were promt and gave us ample time with the ponies.

Both my husband and I have dedicated over 20 years to honing our skills as equestrians and farmers, serving our community through pony rides, parties, and other live animal events. Additionally, I have extensive experience in animal rehabilitation and rescue, spanning over 15 years.
Continuing the legacy of my husband's family, we have taken over their well-established horse and carriage business, which has been thriving since the early '90s. Our main motivation is to carry on this cherished family tradition with our own children. In fact, our oldest child has already achieved the impressive feat of being a three-time New England driving champion. She now works alongside us, contributing her expertise to our family business.
Horses are not just a part of our livelihood; they are an integral part of our lives. We are truly passionate about what we do and the animals we care for. We eagerly await the opportunity to connect with you and discuss how we can serve you and your needs.
