Loren performed for an hour in our home for our family Christmas party. His magic was fun and professional. He is extremely accommodating and a great person. His audience was mostly 8-18 with their parents. We all equally enjoyed him. He has a very professional setup with sound. You don't need to provide anything, he brings it all. His magic included having "licorice" his beautiful black (real live) bunny appear out of nowhere. A wide variety of magic tricks. He had our children (and us parents/grandparents) totally consumed in his performance. I really appreciated Loren taking the time, after his show was complete, with two of our younger grandchildren teaching them magic acts. Very patient with them and gave them great encouragement. They were doing these tricks to all the adults after everyone left. Great experience and once again Gig Salad has provided us another quality, great character performer.

A Facebook memory from 4 years ago popped up today from the best birthday party my son has ever had and it was thanks to the entertainment, Magician Loren Poppe. So, since I'm a little more tech savvy now I figured it's about time I give him the great review he deserved. Loren was great with the kids and adults, he was funny and the magic was very entertaining leaving the kids amazed by what they had seen. They talked about it for weeks. It was definitely a memorable experience that we all still talk about. I would recommend Loren to anyone looking for great entertainment, something a little out of the ordinary, and an unforgettable experience.

About
A casual stroll through a flea market one early autumn brought a merchant who drew a quarter out of a young boy's ear, and Loren, enthralled by this simple act, began his profession with a magic kit from his parents at the age of 6. Excelling at sleight of hand, Loren performed his first magic shows for neighborhood birthday parties and senior centers, and progressed in high school to performing at business parties as well as vanishing on football fields for Half Time Shows. After being asked to perform for a local church celebration, Loren and Brenda began Light Entertainment in the fall of 2010.
