Lightning Hall is a performer of acoustic folk blues by such artists as Muddy Waters, Lightning Hopkins, Big Bill Broonzy, Robert Johnson as well as some more contemporary blues. He also writes and performs original songs that draw from blues, rock, folk and Americana influences. He plays finger style and slide guitar, harmonica and has been described as a "compelling blues artist" with "impeccable guitar work and a soulful voice."
