We hosted a wedding weekend welcome party with a Caribbean theme. Lightening Jack was amazing. The calypso vibe was perfect, and Lightening Jack's performance could not have been better. Thank you!

I have never gone on Gig Salad before and was surprised by how easy it was. We listened to the demos of Lighting Jack and we liked him and picked him for our event. We were having an opening of our Woman’s Exhibit and he was such a professional and he read the room (patio) and was perfect the entire time. He made the event so special and will use him again when we get a chance.

Great selection of songs, and the band always kept the volume in check. Also, the group was punctual and very easy to work with.

Lightning Jack was more than accommodating. The wedding ceremony was supposed to be on the beach but at the last minute the weather caused us to have to abandon that idea and move to an indoor location. Lightning Jack relocated with us and was set up and playing when I got there. I would highly recommend him not only for his talent and sound quality but for his willingness to do his part to make your event successful and special. Lightning Jack was a beautiful addition to our wedding ceremony. He set the mood and played beautiful music while guests were getting seated. Then played the wedding march for my dad and i to walk down the isle and it was absolutely beautiful! I would definitely use him again and suggest him for everyone to use when looking for a steel drummer.

Lightning Jack was a really great addition to our annual company spring party.

Jack took our requests and played them perfectly along with playing our first dance song (original version - not steal drums) and then gave us the best reception music! He was professional and patient...even waiting a week for payment - our mistake.

with Lightning Jack McGivern! We hired Jack to play @ our mobile park's July 4th celebration! What a GREAT idea! The afternoon couldn't have gone any better! Jack played the entire time he was there! We had to interrupt him a few times, so we could make some announcements and he jumped right back in when we were done! His musical ability is truly amazing, his personality is professional but not stuffy (he's a sweetheart, really). And I ask my self WHY we never thought of Steel Drum entertainment before! I can't begin to describe how wonderful Jack and his band are! Not only did they show up early for set up, they allowed the kids to sing a few songs karaoke which was the highlight of their night. They were very nice and played a wide variety of music which was really great. The wedding guests really enjoyed listening to them play and gave many comments that the music was not overly loud (as often wedding music can be). Jack was great to work with during the booking process and provided prompt responses to my questions. They were a great band that played great music. Thank you Lightning Jack and band!
