Hello!
I am a belly dancer with 12 years in captivating performances and teaching classes! I have taught and performed all around the world and at many fun events in LA County! I am trained in traditional dances of North Africa and the Middle East, but I specialize in fusion belly dance. I also am a burlesque dancer and street dancer, so I can fuse my performance in modern styles or with a fun, circus flair. My most basic belly dance show can also be upgraded with exciting props: Sword balancing, glamorous fan veils, or finger cymbals. OTHER SKILLS: Emceeing, singing, pogo, character, mime/robot, staffing other entertainment for your event from my large Rolodex of Performers I work with.

Hello there!
I have over 12 years of experience producing and performing in events! I have extensive experience working in restaurants, clubs, house parties, garden parties, for theatrical events, stage shows, showcases, and arena size festivals.....Small party or Huge festival show I can make your event special!
BELLY DANCE: If you are hiring me as a belly dancer for a birthday or corporate gig, etc., I will offer you a selection of music variety (upbeat/fun, slow/sensuous, English/Arabic music, and length). I also will discuss with you any props you would like me to use for added excitement-I can work with balancing a sword, a mesmerizing veil, etc. I will discuss what your audience it..do you want it a bit more sassy and sexy for a cocktail crowd, or light-hearted and family-friendly for a younger teen's birthday party, etc? I can work with you size of stage, if you need me to fill large space in a theatrical show or large corporate conference, etc., and I can also keep it small and intimate if you are holding a house or garden party.
BURLESQUE: If you are booking for burlesque, we can discuss your needs for props and clothing reveals. For Gatsby/Roaring 20's parties, I have lots of fun feather fans and sparkly costumes!
CHOREOGRAPHY: If you are looking for a Choreographer for a showcase or for a special guest to perform at their event, I will discuss your length of act, costuming options, and the performance space, to make sure there are no hitches on the big day!
OTHER DANCE STYLES: I also can work with street dance, hiphop, swing dance, contemporary, jazz, and swing dance, singing, and clowning. The procedure for these would be the same: Finding your needs so I can fit them best! If I do not have the costume you desire, I can work with your budget to purchase something perfect and affordable!
ADDITIONAL DANCERS: If you would prefer a small or large group of dancers, I also staff and help to Manage Entertainment for many events. I can bring you 2 other dancers with me, or up to 50. I can book circus dancers, belly dancers, street dancers, for any size event. My Rolodex includes many diverse professionals.
TRAVEL: I live in Los Angeles county. If you are booking out of the county, we will discuss travel. If it is closer by, perhaps I can drive and your event can cover the gas. If it is out of state, we can book a flight for me with at least one suitcase covered for my costumes.
CLASSES: I LOVE to teach and have been a sought-after educator for almost a decade. I have taught at large festivals across USA and Europe, and also taught small mini-lessons to families and couples during shows in restaurants and clubs for years. I can teach a formal lesson for your event or studio, or I can just lead a fun "dance along with me" for the whole family or business team, to get everyone up on their feet, get moving and have something special to remember!
I will always leave time to pose for pictures with your team or special guest, and they can hold the props and get some good memories!
Thank you for choosing to work with me...I look forward to meeting you and making your event special!
Best

Technical needs will vary based the size of your event and how many acts or props you want.
In general:
1) I will need a way to play my music. If you have a DJ I can send them my music in advance. If you have no DJ, I will need to have a speaker and sound system to connect my device to.
2) If you want me to dance to live music, bands, etc., I will need to speak to them in advance to find out the genre, which songs they know, etc.
3) I need a safe floor to dance barefoot on, if I am belly dancing. Please make sure there are no nails sticking out of the floorboards/broken glass, etc. If you need me to belly dance outside on dirt or gravel, I need advance notice so I can bring proper dance shoes.
4) Lighting: For large theatrical events I can fill out your tech rider. For a small house party, etc., just make sure there is ample enough light to be safe and move through your space unharmed.
5) I will need a safe room to store my belongings and change in. I can come in costume if absolutely necessary but this is not ideal, and I will still require a safe place to store my belongings.
This doesn't apply as much for my belly dance acts. We can decide how many acts you want.
If you want me to hire my band/dance companies, then we would set our set list and have you review it if necessary.
I am very influenced by my mentor, Zoe Jakes' band and touring company, Beats Antique.
I love that they brought belly dance to the realms of electronic music, but still use traditional Middle Eastern instruments.
Another one of my favorite belly dance teachers was Aziza.
In burlesque I am inspired by electro-swing, and vintage dancers from old cinema! I love the electro-swing band Caravan Palace!
For street dance and pop realms, my big inspiration is Doja Cat! I like that she is unique and quirky but also sexy!;)
