This was my first time using Gig Salad and hiring a bartender, and Travis exceeded all my expectations. I organized a corporate event with a small happy hour to show appreciation for my clients, and Travis made the experience seamless. From the start, his professionalism stood out—he was prompt with communication, outlining everything he needed and what I could expect well in advance. On the day of the event, despite my hectic schedule, Travis handled everything with confidence and efficiency, arriving early and setting up without any direction needed. His attention to detail was evident, from helping supply cups to ensuring the bar area was tidy and well-organized throughout the event. He interacted warmly with all the guests, maintaining a high level of service while creating a welcoming atmosphere. LiquidLaureates is my absolute favorite and go-to for any occasion. Travis is an amazing artist and a drink crafting GENIUS. We asked for a signature drink for our wedding, gave him the theme, and he came up with not only a special drink, but it was colored to our theme AND incorporated ingredients that symbolized the day!!

I am a Bartender for Hire serving the Greater New Orleans Metropolitan Area. In 2010, I attended a wedding reception that had a bar but no staff when guests arrived. Although other guests urged me to step in and serve drinks, fear of liability held me back. However, the idea was born that night. A few months later, I found myself bartending at a birthday party, where a guest asked if I would consider bartending her wedding. This led to the creation of Tasty Bevco. Since then, I've provided bartending services for numerous private parties, weddings, and even a soiree for an NCAA Athletics Department that advanced to the Elite Eight.
In 2024, Tasty Bevco rebranded to Liquid Laureates. The name reflects my background in education, from majoring in and working in Special Education to serving as the Director of Beverage Instruction at Crescent City School of Gaming and Bartending, and mentoring cohorts at Turning Tables. Liquid Laureates is dedicated to delivering exceptional bartending services with a focus on quality, creativity, and hospitality.
Liquid Laureates is a dry hire service. We cannot, by law, provide any alcohol without a liquor license. We can however, be hired as bartenders hired to pour whatever you provide for us, in accordance with Louisiana liquor laws. We do have a folding portable bar that can be setup in minutes. While access to electricity isn't necessary, it is helpful.
