Lisa D Nelson is a keyboardist/singer who performs for various events, such as weddings, funerals, receptions, special events and concerts. She is known for her performance of tracking full band and orchestral sounds on her keyboard. Having performed with major artists on both concert tours and recordings, she has over 20 years of experience. She has independently recorded 2 solo CD’s, 4 choir gospel CD’s, and produced several independent artists. Whether working with bands or vocal groups, Her fluent styles are Gospel, Worship, Jazz, Soul/R&B, and Pop.
She also trains and works with gospel groups, various choirs and as a praise and worship leader. She has transportation and equipment.
Lisa was kind enough to sing at my mother’s home going service. It was a last minute booking but you’d never know this. She sang one of my mother’s favorite songs and it was beautiful. I know mom was smiling.

Lisa D Nelson has a great singing voice. A couple of my guests have requested her name. My only not so positive comment would be that Ms. Nelson and her setup help, were setting up equipment and being somewhat distracting during another performer’s set more than once. I felt that she should have been more sensitive regarding someone else’s allotted time slot, and waited or arrived earlier to prepare. The party was a success none the less, and no one has made a negative comment so far.

I’m glad everything worked out for your Mom’s party. She is indeed a gem. I’m sorry about the set up issue and trust me I don’t like setting up and being a distraction during anybody’s set. In all honesty, I was told I was to perform at 4:30 and to arrive at 3:15. I arrived at 3pm only to discover a room full of people and the event already in progress which means there was no set up time given. I should have been allowed to come before the event started and all of the set up distraction would have been avoided. Again, my apologies for this mishap, and please consider set up time ahead of an event before start time for any performer in the future. It will make everything go much smoother.

They made our wedding! I am so grateful for Lisa D Nelson and The Mission! My Mom passed 2 months before my wedding, and Lisa and her amazingly talented group sang her favorite song as our recessional and it was like she was there! My heart is so full! Can’t recommend them enough!
